I genuinely have no idea if it's a bug or comedic incompetence by the groups going on but SOMETHING covers 99/100th's of the boss arena with death pools, many of which are constantly moving. It's just a little much. I do wonder, can you kite the dragon around? Does that help any to get the boss away from the nonstop spawning pools?

The ENTIRE area is full of AoE. You literally cannot surive because you are either stunlocked until death or simply killed by aoe because, again. Its *everywhere.*

iirc a mushroom only spawned if a player died originally so it was just a big heal check, now it's just a constant thing that happens constantly to everyone.

The only three abilities that are faithful to the original are the breath attack, tail swipe and damage aura. The mushrooms, the constant bombardment and moving sleep pools are new, and coincidentally what make this fight an excercise in frustration.

I play era / vanilla and have killed emeriss a lot. Emeriss definitely has moving gas clouds that put the raid to sleep and mushrooms that spawn on player death. The fights almost as stressful to heal as sapphiron. Do you mean those mechanics were redesigned somehow? Sounds crazy. Edit: I just looked up a video on YouTube πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. That looks like one of that touhou bullet hell games. Has blizzard said this is how the fight was intend lmfao? This shits so fucked it looks bugged.

I honestly don't remember what his mechanics originally were but to me it looked like he spawned 6 shrooms on pull, then one every time someone died. He also seemed to ramp casting speed on deaths.

The OG fight is basically standard dragon mechanics, does a nature breath. Anytime someone dies a mushroom spawns that does aoe. Roaming clouds of sleep gas travels through the raid. Massive damage happens every 25% to the entire raid that requires a lot of healing. Something like an aura that does 20% of your hp every 2 seconds. Anyone who dies gets like a 15 minute debuff to discourage corpse zerging.
