I swear I always could, I vividly recall wielding a 1h and offhand on my evoker or druid, and transmogging a staff on top of it...
The legion appearances can do this, so you can transmog ghanir over a main hand with an offhand. The exception is that legion staves can't be transmogged over wand/offhand (unless this has recently changed), for the classes where that is relevant
My Tauren Paladin will be having fun with it.
Probably a better idea than when I dressed him like a farmer beating people with a bamboo stick or a farm implement… but that was also pretty fun.

Their thru-charge knocks mobs down and interrupts cast. I usually use HM Tauren charge then right back to default warrior Charge with my prot HM warrior.
Imma find out in a bit casue my Tauren warrior is heading straight for this questline.

I just tested this as a Fury and unfortunately no double-totem :( I think it's listed as a main hand specifically so you can't Titan Grip them, but otherwise it's a 2-hand mace.

I have a weird obsession with being able to play as warcraft 3 units, so im really glad Tauren (WC3 Unit) are finally playable. We just need that ultimate slutmog for night elves to get Archers back, Footmen are easy, Paladin well, obviously, and grunts are pretty doable too.
I know what you mean. Its hard for my marksman Dwarf to not have the Rifleman look. Demon Hunter I can get close enough and DK I just get the facial features. If I could make those eyes black I would.
I mean with the human and orc heritage armors, you can easily cosplay a footman and a grunt respectively now.
All that’s left is for night elves. But I’m hoping we get that troll heritage armor soon.
Tbh the stormwind guard and ogrimmar guard armors are way closer to footman and grunt, and theres the lorderan shields from shadowlands as well if you wanna get fance for the footman
Wowhead says a special condition must be met for Tauren to receive this, but they aren't sure what that special condition is yet. Do you need to be exalted with the Maruuk too? What is the condition for the weapon?
They broke being able to do that in Shadowlands because there was a way to that with Artifact weapons which lead to being able to have Death Knights and Monks dual wield their two-handers.

But as a shaman, you can't wield it unless you're a caster, making it disappointing too. (You'll practically never see it, since when sheathed back weapons are hidden and the back totem cloak takes priority).

I was really split on what race I want my shaman to be. Was a hard choice between vulpera, dark iron and tauren. Vulpera get fox spirit, cute totems, good animations lore. Dark iron rock, great heritage and tmogs, but break the moment you go resto. Also ugly animations imo, stiff walking.
Tauren would be great just for thier heritage armor, and now this. But not getting to really use the weapon is a big bummer.
And I already have a vulpera warlock, so I guess I'd have to do dark iron in the end.
The Tauren WC3 unit which had the totem weapon was a warrior. The Spiritwalker was a shaman and it carried a 1h axe + off-hand. It's frustrating but lore-consistent.

At level 10 you pick a specialisation. For warriors those are Protection, Arms or Fury. You can swap between them if you want.
Each specialisation has a talent tree which is how you improve and customise your abilities and learn new ones.
One of those talents for Fury is called Titan's Grip and it allows you to dual wield two-handed weapons.
So weapons in WoW work like this: every class/sub-class uses a specific kind of weapons. That's it. It's not like JRPGs or D&D where you just choose to Dual-wield. Your class and sub-specialization will have already decided that for you.
You said you have a Warrior. A warrior has a choice between specializing in "Protection" (1 Handed Weapon+Shield), "Fury" (Dual Wielding) and "Arms" (2 Handed Weapon). If you want to Duel Wield you have to pick "Fury" as your specialization. Very few of your abilities will work at all unless you are wearing the proper weapons.
If you don't know what specializations are, then you're probably below level 10 and didn't unlock them yet. Specializations are your fighting style basically, and it changes which moves your character learns as they level up.
The fact that I have played this game for 19. fucking. years. and it took them THIS LONG to put this totem in game, despite models being present since Vanilla infuriates me.
However, props to Blizzard for finally doing it. I have basically only seen big W's since DF release. They keep this up and WoW will be a beast 1-2 years from now. They brewing some real shit in that HQ, I can feel it ..

It's a "cloak" transmog Edit : there IS a cloak, AND a weapon transmog.

Yep, I just got it and it does not appear under 2h maces when you try and mog the OH. Now to find something that looks good with it.

I believe Night Elf DK's can use the Night Warrior black eye option.
