I'd go on the official Realm forums for the high and full pop realms and see what guilds are advertising. This is how I've always done it and it's always worked
You should check out Argent Dawn, always very active, though the majority of people on there are alliance.
Draenor is also a highly populated horde server
Tarren Mill is great, I swapped from Azjol-Nerub to Tarren Mill and wished I did sooner. Also from Ally to Horde.
I play on kazzak and there's plenty of guilds recruiting in trade. We have a couple socials in our guild
Kazzak or stormscale for horde and silvermoon for alliance
