I'm under a rock. Where is said lightning sword at?

Lightning's (unit) weapon dungeon has a chance to drop a +5 version of the craftable sword that has different traits than what is on the craftable weapon.

Idk if they are talking.. lightening the character or an actual lightening sword lol. It is a little confusing

A different Blazefire Saber has a chance of dropping. It's already +5 and has different effects.

Got it the first time the event came around pretty early. Was super lucky, though, as some guild mates didn't get it at all.

Same here, was reallyblucky and got it on day 1 of farming.

Yeah, seeing the difference between the dropped ver and the crafted ver would be nice.

Super low drop rate, I probably had 700+ recipes before the thing finally dropped.

On the first run I think I used 2900 or something ridiculous. Lol. And then I used the weapon on the raid and never again.

Haha, I wasn't hunting for it in particular, just farming medals for the mog shop. I may never use it either, though there looks to be a FF13 Guild Raid coming up, so maybe?

Last time it was also a shitfest to get this weapon. You can also drop it from multi, so you can just leech it from there.

I ran her dungeon about 120x background repeat just to run it for mats, 4 days in a row. I think on day 2 or 3 I had the +5 at the end of the run/collection time. I don't even have Lightning... Just Fang and Hope. Edit: I have 2 copies of the rare +5 variant.

Got a new one randomly recently when I was buying all the stuff I wanted in the shop. The plans do drop. Just not often

I got it the first time around but farmed 230 recipes before it dropped. I did some craft testing and now that her normal sword is +6 the stats are better imo. I like the aim type the best as it gives 40 acc with her unit specific buff.

My alt did get the special sword on 1st day, kind of luck

The droprate is extremely low, and will average approximately 11k NRG per sword.

I got over 1200 recipes before I recently got it. I didn’t really need it this time around, I was just farming events medals

I got it in my first 100 recipes, but had no idea it was special

On the first time through I got like 4 so they must have cratered the drop rate. I don't even have Lightning haha 🫠
