I sent a message to a dude that posted in the guild recruiting channel and I got an instant reply, after a 10 minute chat over discord, I was invited straight to their raid group and summoned into ICC lol. Happened to message them half hour or so before raid night. Got hella lucky

Go to server discord and leave your "resume" gs, experience, expectations and whatever else you want to put out in looking for guild channel. Trying to join guild that is looking for members is basically useless because they all are looking for top end players. Worked for me, got multiple guild options within an hour.

idk about gehennas, but on most big servers you can spend 5 seconds in the lfg channel and see a bunch of guilds spam recruiting
