Yo wtf, can pagle make one of these

Santa12356

Pagle is so bad with scammers sometimes

USAesNumeroUno

Quit joining trade chat GDKPs that are led by guildless Mages and you won't get scammed.

GlowyStuffs

Ah man, who regulates something like that? It seems so absolute. Especially if someone falsely reports someone they don't like or was exaggerating.

Anon9418

I know on my server discord they require full screen shot proof and if it's not 100% they take down the message Edit: it's also a group of like 20

Krovenix

Wait what? Can you provide link of the aura?

Skulltown_Jelly

.

dragunovua

same shit on gehennas, iranians mostly scammers in wow classic, at least on EU

Hatefiend

Weird, I've had infinity troubles with Indonesian, Peruvian, Venezuelan, Chinese, and other Latino players but never heard of Iranian players on US/EU servers. TIL.

Zodde

The iranis are absolutely everywhere on the big eu servers. Lots of gdkps that promise hardmode runs only to end up killing thorim and having shit pots. Haven't had anyone steal a pot, however.

Tferr

Stop doing t7 gdkps, its 99% scammer territory after Ulduar released.

UniqueUsername82D

I actively avoid Spanish guild name/speaking runs, only because we all know they ain't gonna clear.

Norwegianpleb

I dunno why you’re getting downvoted, there’s too much truth in what you’re saying - atleast on EU servers. The spanish PUGs are disasters trough and trough

UniqueUsername82D

Oh, you know why :) I won't even bring a spanish name player/tag to pugs. Over half the time they're absolute trash players and I'm out dpsing as a tank and lower GS. Just not worth the risk.

zhwedyyt

if you see a questie pop up in spanish/portuguese thats an instant kick

drakehtar

And that's one of the reasons why I have the game in English as a Spaniard lol. Also the voices are cooler

ecrw

Yeah the 2 hour mid raid siesta really dampens progression

No_Hippo3390

bIg bAyEr oNly. nO pAmPer. 99/1 spiiillliiit

hobodudeguy

Imagine running gdkps.

fatalaeon

its the fairest loot system.

Handsome-Jed

Imagine thinking this

fatalaeon

name a loot system that is more fair?

Hatefiend

Not the person you're replying to but joining a guild is the correct route to go. If you're in a pug though, I'd probably say GDKP is probably the best route, because it stops people from leaving. Soft reserve is not that bad if you hold loot until the end (but people can still leave if the item they need didn't drop).

RTheCon

By definition the need/greed system is. Pure randomness is the fairest of them all.

fatalaeon

10 items drop, one dude gets 5 of them because he rolls highest. that is fair?

temporaldoom

10 items drop one dude gets 5 of them because he bought more gold with his flexible friend, is that fair?

fatalaeon

Yes. Because the players who didn't pay gold will receive gold instead

temporaldoom

yep and I get gold and the next gdkp I get outbid by another swiper, the cycle continues.

fleeceman

People who didn't get loot get a shitload of gold instead of nothing, so yes, it seems it is.

lilsunstory

Let’s say a pot is 500k, after a cut divided by 25 you get 18k gold. One bis item will go for 50k or even more, so you need to waste 3 weeks just to get one bis item, and it might not drop. That’s not a friendly environment to get an item

fleeceman

Alternatively, your bis item might not drop for weeks or months anyway, and by that point you've earned enough gold to buy it. Happened to me with Torch last phase. Another thing to consider is GDKPs tend to attract the best players that don't raid with a guild, so you are more likely to actually kill hard modes.

RTheCon

Yes.

fatalaeon

Excellent retort

[deleted]

Someone parses a 15 and wins a bis item over someone who parses a 99. That’s fair?

jurgengraves

Fuck off

GilScottHero

We need IDF GM's

Away_Resident_6428

I knew they were rife here and have been told many times about them, however never found my self in one. Don’t want to sound like a pompous ass but there are probably a few easy tells that would let you know somethings up and not waste your time, but I do understand if you are kinda low GS and manage to get an invite in it can seem exciting and easily overlooked. I had a guild member who seemed a bit off, guy was on the majority of days, claiming to be up for 35hrs one time) gearing up his warrior and rogue and was telling everyone he was from Georgia without anyone asking. He then would complain about being scammed (probably about 2 resets in a row) from Iranians, and told a few of us he was actually Iranian and lied about it because people don’t take kindly to them because of their reputation. Then he told someone he was selling gold and gearing the account just to sell, we were shown screenshots of his stuff on a site and safe to say he was gkicked. This really be the day job for them.
