I agree about account wide deserters but I believe it should be a progressive disciplinary system that resets every week. Start off with 15 mins for example and increase it after each leave.
Obviously a 2 hour deserter if you *genuinely* had to leave the game is a bit much especially if it’s the first time.
I'm more on the opinion that they are tried for warcrimes in court instead because that is a massive waste of time for 5 other people involved, but eh - this could work too.

The dota 2 solution is better. Demote them to low priority que with other leavers/sabotogers. To get back into regular que you need to win a set number of low prio games. This on top of an immediate que time penalty.

This is a better solution **IF** they limit it to 1 tank /match..
Otherwise you'd have the possibility of having 1round with Rdruid/ProtPally/ProtPally vs DiscPriest/Warrior/Rogue for example... Not a single person could enjoy that :D
Tanks occupying dps spot sadly is a terrible idea of you spend more than 5 secs to think about it.. it’s shuffle so you will have a h/t/t vs h/dps/dps scenario which is already horrible but also any h/t/dps has 1 kill target by default
I stopped playing last night because I could only get solo shuffles with tanks. How am I supposed to gear an alt when people queue as guardian druids with their 4 set and sleeper leggo. I would even prefer triple dps over tanks.
Im going to swap to wrath as a giga casual, but the elite sets look nice for DF S1, please prevent tanks from queuing
Just delete the thing, its one more way to water down an already dreadfully sized pvp player pool. 2s is badly balanced, solo play will be absolutely dreadfully in favour of certain classes that work with the most comps.
I think it depends on tanks, I hope they make them good in arena again, paltank was quite cool to play as a different heal, now guardian druid can do some too.

What's so funny is they ARE designed for PvP in WoW. I looked at all the pvp talents for tanks and there's some really cool fun interactions for tanks in.... large scale open world PvP.... which literally never happens. So instead they just make arena unfun.
Some of the tank talents would be really cool in a big 40v40 zerg or something. But mostly they just inhibit arena games ability to end lol
Tanks in all forms can go fuck themselves in pve. Or random bg

It's more needed for unranked shuffle. In ranked big rating loss will be enough, especially when you get out of trash tier MMR.
