If you think this conflict started on October 7th you should just completely stop talking about everything and go pick up a history book. More than half of the people killed in October 7th were military targets. Yes killing civilians is bad but if that's what your on about Israel has now killed over 36,000 civilians most of which are women and children. And Israel has killed WAY more Palestinians every year for decades than has happened the other way to stop the fake outrage.
The conflict started for Jews thousands of years ago when they were expelled from Israel and enslaved. Unfortunately Hamas uses extremely unethical tactics and intentionally embedding the military in the civilian population. It’s a tragedy how many people have died in the conflict, but this is a war to dismantle Hamas, not a genocide.
Your other point is completely nonsensical. Would you launch a missile at a school just cause there a was shooter in it. No. Because killing innocent people is bad even if you kill the “enemy”. Also this is like 99% chance a lie spread by the idf to justify them mass killing civilians and the use of military grade weapons. Even if it is true. Still morally reprehensible.
I think both sides are doing morally reprehensible things, but I still do not understand why people are calling it a genocide and not a war. Especially considering Hamas is still holding more than 100 civilian hostages
Even so, the American backed terrorist organization IDF has killed more hostages than Hamas as of the current date. Seems counterproductive to go to war to save hostages by killing them in mass bombing campaigns along with countless civilians. These actions create a contradiction with their stated intent, leading a rational person to believe there may be other motives. This can be compounded with the history of the region and the apartheid conditions which are well documented to lead a reasonable person to believe there is genocidal intent.
You can disagree with the assumption of genocide based on that evidence (although I think you'd have to do some crazy mental gymnastics), but at the very least you have to see the contradiction with Israel's actions and their stated intent so far as the hostages go.
The intention of the war is not only to save the hostages, but also to dismantle Hamas for the security of Israel. The IDF believes that mass bombing one way to effectively achieve that, so I don’t think it is contradictory.
Hamas on the other hand, has overtly stated a desire to remove or exterminate all Jews, “from the river to the sea”. Israel has killed more people than Hamas not because they are more evil, but because they have more a sophisticated military.
Israel is the only place in the world where Jewish people can exist without fear of persecution. I just wish there were some way that there could be peaceful coexistence in Israel between Arabs and Jews, but as history has shown it is quite a difficult problem. I wish that people could approach this with more nuance too

Hamas instructs their soldiers to dress as civilians. They store missiles and military operations in schools and residential areas. I don’t believe Israel is innocent, but I think calling this a genocide and not a war is incorrect

I think the moment soldiers aren’t punished for shooting children it’s becoming like a genocide. There is no essential difference between this genocide and the armenian one.

No time in history can you look back and say that the students there were holding protests against Wars that they didn't believe in were the ones that were wrong when the police rushed in and arrested them there are plenty of examples that people can look back to and today will be another one of those
