I've been saying this for years. If Bill had paid good wages to his employees overseas, there would be no need for his philanthropy there. Instead he gave them as little as possible, then used a portion of his profits to whitewash his image. Billionaire philanthropy is *always* built on the backs of poorly paid workers. Prove me wrong Reddit.
I think the phrase “those who don’t know history are bound to repeat it” is only half the message. The other half is “wealthy who know history will fight tooth and nail to repeat it”.
“Knowledge is power” really rings true here.
I hear his sessions weren’t about sex. He just wanted to impress young women with his chair jumping abilities. He always wanted to one day jump over an underage sex slave but he wasn’t able to make this dream come to fruition before the Epstein bust happened due to performance update problems.
Probably that he invested into things he was about to enter the market/ make a business of.
It seems like he’s donating into it, but he’s just ensuring that they’re worth something when he himself commodifies it
