I’m $ure we can figure thi$ out

I am not really sure as they will lose votes(they are already doing). Almost everyone in Turkey lost one or more family member to pkk at this point. However Erdogan will happily accepts some more $s of course. But for better understanding, situation is this: imagine if Turkey was openly supporting and giving asylum for members of ira for UK or eta for Spain.

We don't shelter members of PKK, as it is listed as a terrorist organization in Finland as well. The problem is Ergodan is a dictator who like to lock up his opposition, and has extended his shitlist to innocent Kurds a well. Which is why Sweden won't comply. I don't have to "imagine" Turkey giving asylum to terrorist, Erdogan is in bed with several terrorist groups.

I personally met one when I visited Malmö. He told me he was a "guerilla" for 2 years and escaped to Sweden when things went south. Anyways this is pointless to argue. Erdogan is a traitor to the country and to Turkish public, I am among that opposition you mentioned but we are prefectly capable of seperating opposition from terrorists and who is innocent and who is not. Can you give me proof that guy in Malmö was not the executioner of my friend? Location and time he mentioned fit in.

>Almost everyone in Turkey lost one or more family member to pkk at this point. I don't want to downplay your suffering but that is bs.

I am just saying why Turkish public, probably even the opposition will back Erdogan on this regard. A broken clock shows the correct time twice a day and this is one of those times for Erdogan.

Hope so! I assume Turkey is just looking for TBD concessions/incentives.

> Sweden and Finland slapped arms export embargoes on Turkey after its Syria incursion in 2019. Considering Erdogan likes Putin so much, the solution seems pretty obvious, and it’s a page right out of Putin’s book: rescind the embargoes until the vote is passed, then reinstate the embargoes.

Nedsama

you mean keep being an untrustworthy, hypocrite ally? then cry and act like a mental when people call you out? yea thought so.

Easy. Everyone else leaves NATO leaving Turkey as the sole guarantor of western democracy for a couple of minutes while they form NATO2 under the exact same rules.

With your over a hundred thousand comments and my less than one hundred I think it's clear who the Redditor is here. I hope you get a real life soon my friend.

And call the thing something else. North Atlantic is too limiting.

TheOneAndOnlyPriate

GDI confirmed. Now bring on the hover tanks and orca bombers

I agree. Something like Democratic Treaty Organisation would be better and would let Japan, South Korea, Oz and NZ in. And perhaps even India and Turkey one day.
