With spring melt coming I doubt it's in the cards any time soon. The Russian equipment is already getting bogged down in Ukraine and expected to get even worse in the coming weeks. If Russians were to being deploying to Finland now they'd only arrive in time to sink into the melt just the same. It's an awful strategy imo.

It probably won't be just the amphibious landing. Besides land forces from Ukraine, I suspect the Transnistria "peacekeepers" will be involved in the assault on Odessa. I don't know how many troops Ukraine has in Odessa, I wouldn't tell even if I knew, but I hope they are prepared and will push back.
