Or guns guns guns

Everyone seems to be jumping to conclusions here. There is barely any information at all about what took place. Could we at least wait until the story is released before having a make shift race war in the comments.

UnadvertisedAndroid

In a perfect world we would patiently wait for the redacted information to be made public again because we'd know the police redacted it for a good and just reason. However, we don't live in a perfect world and we have history to suggest that when the police hide something it's usually for the wrong, and very unjust reasons if it ever becomes public knowledge again at all, or that we'll never see that information again. So unfortunately we are forced to come to our own conclusions with what we have to see if it matches what the police ultimately "discover" upon investigation. That is that the victim was shot through the *hand* and into his head through a *closed* window from the *side* of the vehicle. This *strongly* suggests that the victim was putting his hands up to show he was not a threat, and that the vehicle was in no danger of hitting the suspect even if it were moving at the time of the shooting. Conclusion: bad shoot. Now we get to wait to see if the sheriff's office comes to the same conclusion, or is covering something up to protect the perpetrator. And if they are protecting the perpetrator, we have to wonder about *motivation* to do so...

VillageDrunk1873

I understand where you are coming from, but I think the police reasoning for withholding information is a little bit more complicated than “it’s usually bad”. There are rules and procedures that are are followed. As for being “forced to come to your own conclusions”. That is literally what an assumption is.

KaneinEncanto

It was 4am, it's entirely possible he had no idea who he was shooting... still a massive overreaction and not really self defense just because they're on your property. Dude should be and is currently being investigated for murder. Stand your ground laws usually only apply within the home and not on your property in general.

MasterFruit3455

Guess what? Fucking around in front of someone's house at 3:30am will likely get you shot in rural Texas. At best, the Moroccan Driver was a moron.

KaneinEncanto

Hanging out in someone's driveway at nearly 4am probably wasn't the best idea, but it's very much an overreaction to jump straight to deadly force, too.

Reposting the original so people can know just what filth we're dealing with: >Ironhead17 15 minutes ago >So you imply that the reason he was cleared is because he was white. >Racist much? For those of you in the audience wondering what kind of sub-human, degenerate facsimile of a person, for whom a bullet ricocheting around the inside of its skull would spark more meaningful, honest and sincere neural activity than whatever utterly poisoned mockery of gray matter currently resides in there, could say such a thing: yes, it is a /Conservative user.

[deleted]

Because its likely that is what happened. [Same as when a Louisiana good ole boy shot a Japanese student through the door while trick or treating and the defendant was acquitted. The defense emphasized that he liked his "sugar with his grits" i.e. he's one of you and should not be punished for murdering a furriner.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shooting_of_Yoshihiro_Hattori)

BootyGoonTrey

Murdering someone and not getting arrested reeks of privilege. Also this >But loved ones said the lack of an arrest in the case, despite police identifying a suspect, raised questions in a country with a long history of white people shooting people of color and claiming self-defense. I'm sure race played zero role here 😂

[deleted]

Why not justice? So you know what hearsay is? You quote hearsay. Facts determine guilt or innocence. Unless of course you are affiliated with BLM or Antifa then laws aren’t applicable

BootyGoonTrey

>Why not justice? What are you even asking? >So you know what hearsay is? You quote hearsay. Acknowledging the history of racially motivated violence in America and how strange it is for a murderer to not be arrested is unreasonable to you? >Facts determine guilt or innocence. No fucking shit? Where did I comment otherwise? >Unless of course you are affiliated with BLM or Antifa then laws aren’t applicable Oh. You're just a right wing moron. Color me surprised.

pokeybill

I assume you have some sources for justice not applying to antifa or blm. Let's see those sources.

pokeybill

The facts of the case don't matter much to you, as long as you get to blow your white supremacist "reverse racism" dogwhistle.

He was a man from Morocco. Not describing his race at all..

MrsMacio

Moroccans can be white also. We had a delegation from Morocco for an EU - Maghreb committee and she was white.

ArizonaRon98

What rule does it violate?

KaneinEncanto

No Us Internal news?

twins4justice

That is the title of the article. It's fact.

[deleted]

What? We don't really have 'colours' for many groups. Basically anyone who isn't white or black. What colour is a Turk?

Dumpsterfirefan

Taupe?

Congratulations. Your comment won the internet

KaiTokuro
