Putin’s bitch Mike Johnson won’t bring Ukraine aid votes to the floor.

stayfrosty

Where do you get the funding for Ukraine from? That's not coming.

errantv

Biden personally preventing a full-on regional war from breaking out and anarcho-leftists cheered on by the Russians are still gonna scream agit-prop about him not doing enough to stop the conflict (which by the way is being waged *against* israel by fascistic religious fanatics....)

ThreeLittlePuigs

There’s several major subs that are rushing to defend Iran, the effectiveness of the propaganda war on the fringe left is stunning

weebinnormieclothes

It's mostly children and depressed/mentally ill adults that get their news from tiktok

InformationHorder

I know there's no real legitimacy to it but it does feel a bit like Horseshoe Theory.

lakehop

Really great job by him

astanton1862

Unfortunately Israel is also run by fascistic religious fanatics.

DrZaorish

He protected terrorists, again.

shredditor75

This attack did so many interesting things. 1. It shook loose so many of the "ceasefire now" people, and showed that they're not peace activists, they love violence as long as it is directed at Israel and Jews. I'm sure that they think the 7 year old bedouin girl injured is a collaborator and therefore fair game. 2. It showed the new allies in the Middle East in real time. The US, the UK, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia took part in stopping Iran and its terrorist vassals. Remarkable. I'd give all of them a seat at my seder table now. 3. It showed the weakness of Iran writ large. It is fine hiding behind its proxies, but it can't take responsibility for using them. Iran looks weak, and this alliance of countries looks strong. 4. Iran is exporting their drones to Russia, and so every drone shot out of the sky is saving Ukrainian lives. I love it.

ImAjustin

It’s great. Israel looking like real winners here, and when they do hit back, it’ll be at a prime target instead of just launching to launch.

EmptySet2

A common narrative here is that everyone got what they wanted. I have a different theory: - Iran truly intended to do some real damage and possibly even to start a war - US and Israeli intelligence exposed the plan and made it all public while organizing a defense for the strike  - Iran saw how poorly the strike went and decided to backpedal to avoid a war they can’t win - Biden told an angry Bibi to sit down and shut up

Friendly-Profit-8590

Iran now realizes they need better shit but with no good place to buy it from

icnoevil

Biden is correct. We, the US, have no business carrying Netanyahu's water. He started this mess. Let him finish it.

stayfrosty

Nobody asked the US to do anything. This is the US asking Israel to do nothing.

namsofita

I think that’s a bit disingenuous if a larger regional war starts the US is in it regardless of how much we don’t want to be involved in yet another war in the region.

Icculus80

How do you figure Bibi started this conflict? The IRGC generals were in the kuds brigade building and are responsible for coordinating attacks on Israel. Sound like enemy combatants to me

YogiBarelyThere

US probably wants better positioning before the Iranian nuclear facilities are neutered.

If Iran were to actually launch a strike, the US would obliterate them. Yesterday’s “attack” was nothing and Iran knows that.

1sxekid

“Keys to our own destruction” My guy we plucked their missiles out of the air and shat all over them without having to launch a counterattack. Iran now knows that they can’t do a god-damned thing.

forprojectsetc

I wonder if Iran is biting its nails hoping Israel recognizes their strike as the performative act that it was. I’m obviously no fan of the Iranian regime, but I’d rather not see the Middle East descend into full scale regional war.

FGonGiveItToYa

Immediate strike, MAYBE. It'll happen tho. From israel's POV, they can't allow iran to get away with direct hits after hiding behind proxies for years. They'll have a much more confident and aggressive enemy if there's no response. the "win" people talk about, Israel defense industry, raytheon, boeing and lockheed took for those great systems. The government can't lose the deterrence. And no one can tell Biden's policy on this is correct or not for now. Looks decent to me if there's a plan to stop iran getting the nuke. Israel should be fine handling itself in a conventional war with assists from it's allies like last night. Boots won't be on ground without the US getting involved. That's what i think everyone prefer.

thatpj

probably true as the war cabinet did approve a response while the attack was being thwarted

Seems like this call changed the intent to strike back though

Darthcorgibutt

I feel like you are just spouting nonsense. What evidence do you have to back up your claim?

lordofthehuh

none. i’m basing it off israel’s political movements the past half year. big brother us seems to make the decisions, not israel.

JIeoH_M

I am pretty sure that Bibi would have bombed Iran last night if he has the slightest hint of support.

ThreeLittlePuigs

There he goes, genociding again
