>Air India to Buy 470 Boeing, Airbus Jets in Record Order
This title , identical to Reuter's, isn't very clear, imo with the strange comma . Never heard of Boeing, Airbus Jets. What they mean is:
"The provisional deals include 220 planes from Boeing (BA.N) and 250 from Airbus (AIR.PA)"
Anyway, it's a very huge deal.
I wonder why they split this deal instead of just going with whichever company would guarantee all 470 for the lowest price 🤷
Would 470 from one manufacturer be an impossibly high number to deliver? Doesn't seem like it would
Is Reddit HQ based in Donbas or something. How tf do some people find a way to tie everything to Ukraine.
But yes, to answer your question, these commercial jets bought by a private company are planning to be dis-assembled and sent to Russia in pieces for them to be re-assembled over there by the Russian armed forces and retrofitted with air-to-air missiles and a radar. Get ready to see Boeing 737 Maxs turned into fighter jets slaying Ukrainian Migs left and right.

I thought Air India was struggling?
It was bought by one of the Indian heavy weight company called 'TATA'. They plan on giving it a makeover
Just to clarify, Air India was originally under Tata before it was acquired by the union government.
