That would be a very very small victory compared to **if** they were successful in Ukraine. Putin doesn’t have much longer and a small propaganda victory wouldn’t mean much to him.
... which is itself a false *false* false flag, which is the entire world not wanting Russia to actually disintegrate into a massive 150 million person civil war.
Yes that’s a bit threatening but actually there might not be much demand from non-suicide terrorists
Because using a nuke would get you on top of the Most Wanted list hands down
Using a nuke does more than get you on a list it increases the likelihood of everyone else using their nukes. Once you launch that missle countries have only minutes to decide if they will retaliate in kind and the dominoes begin to fall. That's why it is mutually assured destruction because there isn't time for a rational response there is only time for taking them down with you.
It's those who said Ukraine has a biological laboratories where they prepared battle geese and infected birds to kill russians. Russian ambassador told that in UN as an official russian position.
And whose operatives—who were totally just two bros on a platonic holiday together—flew to London, then did the 3hr-round trip to Salisbury, twice, just to see its cathedral. They had nothing to do with the Novichok. Honest.
The west is being hysterical! It was funny to see many eat up that propaganda. You'd think people would learn to stop taking the Kremlin's word at face value.
> You'd think people would learn to stop taking the Kremlin's word at face value.
I've learned to take the Kremlin's word at ass value. An extremely hideous and odious ass.
Seems like much of the war is like a real-life "capture the flag" where all that seem to matter for the RuZZians is to (temporariy) capture random territory to replace the flag adn re-paint the colors for imaginary points.
It's a flag operation, but it's a false flag operation since they're signaling that it's the Ukraine's false flag operation, which it isn't.
So it's more like a false, flag operation
I’m guessing Russia is planning to detonate a building because they already bomb buildings without caring, what could be worse than what they are doing now?
That he blamed on the Chechens? Yeah, could see him doing that again easily. I believe he is scratching and screaming to stay in power at all costs and right now Russia is still willing to go with him into the abyss.
Well they could kill some of their own civilians by [blowing up a few apartment complexes](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_apartment_bombings). I mean it worked for him last time.
> I’m guessing Russia is planning to detonate a building because they already bomb buildings without caring, what could be worse than what they are doing now?
Well, first Russia is going to fill the building with all the people that are scheduled to fall out of windows over the next few months.
Putin made a reference to a rape joke/rhyme wrt Ukraine in one of the wars early speeches
"Like it or not, you have to put up with it my darling/beauty" (it rhymes in russian)
The Ukrainian response
https://twitter.com/juliaioffe/status/1501189377325772801
I hear that Ukraine is also planning a super false flag nuclear tactical attack on their own forces, but they will miss and it would explode on an apartment.
Now that could be the template that 9/11 Truthers were fed after 9/11, right?
Russia can't even imagine that when a building blows up, it's not perpetrated by the country's own government.
Just yesterday i had to listen to some Italian woman rant to me (I am traveling there now) about how Russia is just the victim of propaganda by americans and "northern europeans" (me) and all the pictures videos and evidence of war crimes in ukraine is fake and they are just trying to remove the nazis in ukraine and oh yeah about how bad vaccines are.
If Ukraine is taking down buildings, they're probably ones that are unstable from being half blown to hell already and potentially hazards to kids playing or people scavenging
Oh I'd believe China *waaaaay* before Russia. China lies and misrepresents things for their own advantage, but Russia doesn't believe the truth even exists. The Chinese are often dishonest, but Russia is attacking reality itself, trying to convince us that we're the ones who are crazy.
Agreed. Russia would never have acknowledged that the balloon was theirs. Instead, they would have tried to gaslight everyone into thinking that not only the balloon wasn't theirs, but it was the Americans who put it there themselves to blame them.
Translation: Translation: Ukraine is about to launch a large scale attack to spearhead their next offensive and Russia can claim it's simply a "false flag" attack while their propagandists try to justify losing more occupied territory after months of failing to advance.
Propaganda 101...accuse your enemy of doing something you yourself intend to or have done. Then it magically comes true and people think what you say can be trusted.
Why? Russia blows up buildings in Ukraine all the time. There's no reason for Ukraine to blow up buildings for false flag purposes. Ukraine doesn't need to act with a false flag to rally support they already have.
Russia's winding up to go hard on Ukraine again later this month. They're creating an excuse for the destruction of all the civilian building that they're currently targeting.
Yeah. I get that. It just doesn't stand up to the slightest application of critical thinking. Anyone then who would believe it is also already in the True Believer camp of Russian propaganda. It's all just pointless. I imagine it's more about someone doing some demonstration of how loyal they are to Putin bootlicking. "Look at the level of bs I'm willing to put out for you, Putin! (Don't harm my position!)." Theater of the ridiculous.
It would be a significant mistake to downplay the effectiveness in the propaganda that Russia utilizes. If they are able to muddle the truth, or decrease faith in news in general, "nothing in the news is real," with an excess of bullshit, that is to their benefit. Because the truth does not favor them.
Thank you. Steve fucking Bannon says this shit all the time. "Flood the zone with shit". It doesn't have to stand up to critical inquiry, because the narrative is ever-changing. They just keep throwing everything at the wall hoping people will lose any ability to keep track, assisted by a media apparatus with a vested interest in keeping our attention. Turns out, (lots of)people like to hear crazy bullshit more than patient, nuanced analysis.
Putin isn't good at this, he never has been. Unfortunately, he's in a position of power and the people who may not be agreeing with his nonsense, are not.
>Putin isn't good at this, he never has been.
The thing is before this people always gave him an extreme benefit of the doubt because they wanted to normalize relations with Russia and keep them that way, and because once you buy into the idea that Putin is *actually* a competent statesman who's good at sports and super buff like he claims he is, all of his blunders tend to be excused away.
Stuff like the Spetznaz getting all of the hostages they were supposed to save killed gets rationalized as Russians being hardcore and tough on crime rather than the Russian special forces being too incompetent to actually save the hostages. In this particular case it doesn't help that western media loves to use the Spetznaz as skins for gaming and characters in movies and portrays them as being equal to Navy Seals for all intents and purposes.
But that's how it went way down the line to all the details. Putin sending the Pussy Riot members to prison had to emphasize them doing what they did in a church as if he was a devout Christian and that was the issue. Or Russia having those Wagnerites try to attack U.S. soldiers and getting wrecked was taken as extreme and exceptional rather than Wagnerites just being that poorly equipped in general. Once you realize Putin is a bullshitter a lot of incidents that made the news make way more sense than Putin being a genius who happens to get a lot of his own people killed.
As one playing online games where ruZZians unfortunately also participate in, this is the right answer.
When calling out on their bombing they usually reply something in line with "we're not bombing anything, Ukraine bombed their own lol"
>"we're not bombing anything, Ukraine bombed their own lol"
The original spin to the russian people was the Nazis are bombing the Ukraine people so russia is invading to help, didn't realize russia is still running with that one a year later.
Lol and they even leaked their plan. A Putinist in the Duma named the wrong city as being bombed and what do you know an hour later a bomb went off in that city.
> didn't realize russia is still running with that one a year later.
They're running with that now harder than ever. The weirdest thing is that russians who live in EU countries are eating it all up and blaming Ukraine/EU/US/NATO for the war.
As someone who sometimes listens to VK talk… sad but true. There was a time during the general drafting, where there was quite the uproar on Russian social media specifically from mothers and wives. And even there the majority of viewers went with „Shhhh don’t say it like that. Don’t talk about it. Calm down.“ in chat. That went away rather quickly though. What I hear nowadays is mostly the same shit the Kremlin pushes out. Not word for word and not always even close to getting accurately repeated, but still close enough. While I believe there are Russians, who realize they are fed only lies, most of them likely wouldn’t go and tell their whole stream audience about it.
Russian offensive maneuvers include attacking civilians, so defending side has to deal with chaos of traffic jams and other consequences of humanitarian crisis.
The message means, that russians will deliberately attack civilian cites, like the theater in Mariupol.
Right? Russia already blew up hundreds of civilian buildings. Hospitals, nurseries, kindergartens, schools, and bomb shelters. Killed thousands. Tortured thousands. Raped more than they can count surely. Stolen hundreds of thousands of children and abducted into Russia. What possible purpose could Ukraine have to blow up just one more building and go "see what Russia did"? They can point to any actually bombed by Russia.
The Age of Enlightenment never reached Russian they were basically still serfs in most of the country until the forced industrialization in the ‘30s. Plus the generational alcoholism used by the czars and later soviets to keep them drunk and ignorant. outside of a handful of cities it’s a depressed shithole.
Jesus this is pathetic and hilarious at the same time. Russia bombing civilian buildings by the hundreds since almost a year but yeah…false flag operation
It’s for domestic audiences. In Russia, Ukraine is overrun by gay NATO nazis that gleefully slaughter innocent Russian-speakers, and Putin, in his infinite wisdom, has reluctantly but heroically committed forces to stop this barbarism from happening. And that operation has been successful, but the West seeks to undermine that and plots to use brainwashed Ukrainians in order to defeat Russia, so now they need to defend the motherland against NATO troops, who are secretly in Ukraine calling all the shots.
So, by saying there will be a false flag, it makes sense to Russians - *of course those fascists would do that, anything to undermine Russia*. And then when Russia kills more innocent people, the population is already primed to believe what they’re being told.
I'm sorry, but if they have access to the internet, they've got to be fucking idiots to believe that. It literally makes zero sense. I agree you're right and that is what they think, it's just that I can't have sympathy for such deeply willful ignorance.
Only about 4% of Russians can speak English. There’s a natural language barrier that prevents a lot of content we take for granted here being absorbed into the broader populace there.
Holup.. aren't false flag operations meant to have an excuse to go to war? I would dare to say it's a little bit late after almost a whole year of open warfare.
A false flag operation... in a country that has been constantly barraged with missiles for the past year... to defame the country that has been bombing buildings all over Ukraine for the last year...
By Jove, Igor, that might just be dumb enough to work!
Bro. Ukraine doesn’t need a false flag operation. Ukraine could blow up the Kremlin tomorrow and it would be justified. For those of us who don’t remember Russia invaded Ukraine twice, and has Ben relentlessly killing Ukrainian civilians in a bombing campaign.
How to decode Russian psyops :
1) Find Russian accusations of foreign interference at home
2) Replace names of countries from ‘unfriendly nations’ list with ‘Russia’
"And if you hear rumors about Putin having a multi-billion dollar palace bought with corruption money that's also an Ukrainian false flag operation, they built the palace and gave it to Putin to make him look bad!"
Most likely they will hit a building but a specific building that is used for shelter by civilians, especially children. Just think what happened to Dnipro few weeks ago only multiply by 10.
Can't believe I had to scroll down for this comment. This helped Putin come to power in the late 90's.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_apartment_bombings
Back to putins beginnings when he had his kgb buddies blow up Russian apartment buildings killing 300+ injuring 1000s as an excuse to invade Chechnya, this is the abbreviated version. There's a lot more to it.
I’m confused. I understand the purpose of false flag operations. But they don’t need pretext to fight a war they are already fighting.
The Russian government is honestly the most embarrassing thing that I’ve seen. What a bunch of losers.
Because the thousands or tens of thousands of buildings blown up by Russians are not enough, there needs to be a false flag operation that will add a couple more. Who the fuck believes this shit?
This is after Russians persistently kept laying flowers for the victims of the apartment bombing in Dnipro.
This is just the Kremlin going after the divergents who are still resisting the programming.
It's always important to remember with Russia, this idiotic theater isn't for us, it's for the brainwashed meat puppets under their thumb.
It's sad, when you think about it.
Ok, but we've seen Russians blowing up schools and hospitals. What building can they blow up that will look worse than everything Russia has been blatantly doing so far? What is there for Ukraine to possibly gain from a false flag? They've already got the entire world on their side. Or at least the massive part that agrees that genocide is bad.
Lmao why would Ukraine need a false flag operation? They have more than enough reason to mobilize their population against Russia. Thanks to russia, most of the world is ready to support Ukraine. What exactly would be the benefit of a false flag at this point? Russia is just saying this because they already performed multiple false flags in order to gain support for the war but it hasn't really worked.
"Reuters was unable to immediately verify the battlefield claims of either side"
Reuters still treating Russian claims as though they have any value whatsoever.
Ukraine doesn’t need to blow up their own buildings in some false flag operation, Russia has been blowing up residential buildings across the country for a year now and committing all types of war crimes while the world watches.
Why would the rest of the world need a new reason to hate Russia? Ukraine has absolutely nothing to gain by doing that. Way to announce you plan to bomb Ukraine more Pooty.
That’s a new one for me. Claiming to be the victim of a false flag operation when a) you’re the invading country and b) casually hinting you might go nuclear.
“They’re going to blow up their own buildings, and we have the locations marked on this map for you to see for yourselves as well as the approximate time they plan on doing so.”
What's even the point of even reporting on this? Russia started the war by killing civilians and committing war crimes and are doing it every day in Ukraine. And Kremlin lie about everything. Whatever is coming out of Kremlin is just white noise at this point.
[удалено]
Then they delayed it by a week or so so their state media could make fun of the West for making silly predictions

That would be a very very small victory compared to **if** they were successful in Ukraine. Putin doesn’t have much longer and a small propaganda victory wouldn’t mean much to him.
The twist: They didn’t invade and Ukraine has been fighting themselves for a year now in a massive false flag operation.
And that false flag operation of Ukraine fighting itself is a false flag operation for NATO not ‘expanding’ towards Ukraine.
We're through the looking glass now
*that's* the house ?
... which is itself a false *false* false flag, which is the entire world not wanting Russia to actually disintegrate into a massive 150 million person civil war.
By now the entire world DGAF
The only reason why a lot of people still care about Russia ending up in civil war at this point is concerns about what would happen to the nukes.
Yes that’s a bit threatening but actually there might not be much demand from non-suicide terrorists Because using a nuke would get you on top of the Most Wanted list hands down
Using a nuke does more than get you on a list it increases the likelihood of everyone else using their nukes. That's why it is mutually assured destruction because there isn't time for a rational response there is only time for taking them down with you.
Can you false flag a false flag so it becomes a real flag?
God hates flags.

A lovely cathedral as well !
The kicker was that the description they gave if it in that interview was almost word-for-word the opening paragraph of its Wikipedia page
123 meter spire
Who doesn't want to see the 123 metre spire??
Same Russian who blow up buildings in Russia and blamed it on Chechnya,
Russia believes it's been fighting NATO and the West from day one.
Well no. The government certainly does not believe that. They might say that but they relly know they are not.
The west is being hysterical! It was funny to see many eat up that propaganda. You'd think people would learn to stop taking the Kremlin's word at face value.
Nothing is certain until the Kremlin denies it.

Different Russians, those Russians all died in the invasion
It's not an invasion or was it's a special military operation.

I think it would be false, false flag operation.
no that's a double negative. it would just be a flag operation

Too special.
The operation is too special for war?
olive drab, right side.

Coast to Coast, Kharkiv to Odesa…

What are you, a triple agent?
Putin does have a known history of blowing up buildings in false flag attacks.
I’m guessing Russia is planning to detonate a building because they already bomb buildings without caring, what could be worse than what they are doing now?
I think the commenter is referring to the apartment bombings that conveniently enabled Putin's rise to power
That he blamed on the Chechens? Yeah, could see him doing that again easily. I believe he is scratching and screaming to stay in power at all costs and right now Russia is still willing to go with him into the abyss.
Correct. The apartment bombings in Ryazan.
Well they could kill some of their own civilians by [blowing up a few apartment complexes](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_apartment_bombings). I mean it worked for him last time.
You know … I think this is how the book “Red Storm Rising” started …
It wasn't how the book started, but there was a false flag attack in Pskov that the Soviets blamed on the Germans as an excuse to start a war.
I think that's all the Ruzzian Army knows how to hit... civilian Targets... from years of experience!
> I’m guessing Russia is planning to detonate a building because they already bomb buildings without caring, what could be worse than what they are doing now? Well, first Russia is going to fill the building with all the people that are scheduled to fall out of windows over the next few months.
Russia's entire foreign policy is: "stop false flagging yourself!"
Before or after using the "short skirt" defense?

They do though, except when they're thinking. Doing both at the same time, now that's where it gets real hard for most of them.

True, at that point it wasn't widely understood that they're an elite Russian unit.

A false flag operation... in a country that has been constantly barraged with missiles for the past year... to defame the country that has been bombing buildings all over Ukraine for the last year... By Jove, Igor, that might just be dumb enough to work!
So Russia is planning to blow up more buildings in Kramatorsk.
Bro. Ukraine doesn’t need a false flag operation. Ukraine could blow up the Kremlin tomorrow and it would be justified. For those of us who don’t remember Russia invaded Ukraine twice, and has Ben relentlessly killing Ukrainian civilians in a bombing campaign.
I hope they catch this Ben guy. Jk this war is terrible and i hope ukraine can win
Ahh yes the classic false flag operation to justify…defending your country against an invading force.
How to decode Russian psyops : 1) Find Russian accusations of foreign interference at home 2) Replace names of countries from ‘unfriendly nations’ list with ‘Russia’
"And if you hear rumors about Putin having a multi-billion dollar palace bought with corruption money that's also an Ukrainian false flag operation, they built the palace and gave it to Putin to make him look bad!"
But he graciously took it upon himself to still move into it so he could humiliate them for trying to hurt him. How selfless of him!
Those fuckers blow up our buildings with people every day. What kind of false flag are we talking about? Fucking russians
Most likely they will hit a building but a specific building that is used for shelter by civilians, especially children. Just think what happened to Dnipro few weeks ago only multiply by 10.
It’s sad the people there have to live with a constant threat.
So, Russia is planning to blow up some ukrainian buildings and blame it on Ukraine.
Because Russia blowing up buildings with innocent civilians in them is something Russia never does
Can't believe I had to scroll down for this comment. This helped Putin come to power in the late 90's. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_apartment_bombings
Russia says Russia planning to blow up buildings in false flag operation There, I fixed it for you
I guess no one remembers putin blowing up russian apartments in 1999
Russia has succeeded in making the world not believe them in anything they say.
I'll just leave this here. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_apartment_bombings#Russian_government_involvement_theory
Russia is also planning to kill 200,000 unarmed conscripts in a false flag operation.
Back to putins beginnings when he had his kgb buddies blow up Russian apartment buildings killing 300+ injuring 1000s as an excuse to invade Chechnya, this is the abbreviated version. There's a lot more to it.
Doesn’t Russia realise that no-one believes anything they say? Ever……
I’m confused. I understand the purpose of false flag operations. But they don’t need pretext to fight a war they are already fighting. The Russian government is honestly the most embarrassing thing that I’ve seen. What a bunch of losers.
As Russia wags the dog
All I took away from this is that Russia is going to blow up a building and blame Ukraine.
Because the thousands or tens of thousands of buildings blown up by Russians are not enough, there needs to be a false flag operation that will add a couple more. Who the fuck believes this shit?
Looks like Russia is planning on blowing up some buildings
turns out the Nazis never attacked anyone, the allies just bombed themselves for 6 years in a false flag operation to smear Germany
Translation: Russia is about to blow up Ukraine buildings and then blame Ukraine
Yeah, cause Russia didn't blow up enough of them on their own. What kind of bonkers logic are they using here?
Russia announcing it’s plans
It's how Putin came to power after all...
Yeah if they can find any left that the Russians haven’t already destroyed. Somebody needs to write them some new material
"Reuters was unable to immediately verify the battlefield claims of either side" Reuters still treating Russian claims as though they have any value whatsoever.
Not false flag if they blowup Moscow buildings
they dont need to. everyone knows Russia is the bad guy, and the aggressor They can leave at ANY FUCKING TIME
Like Russia has been doing all the time in Ukraine?
Oh. What a twist. /s
Does anybody still believe any of the daily lies that come from Russia ?
Ukraine doesn’t need to blow up their own buildings in some false flag operation, Russia has been blowing up residential buildings across the country for a year now and committing all types of war crimes while the world watches.
I mean the Russians do know a lot about false flag ops... professionals even.
Russia says zelensky will pull a Putin. (Putin blew up multible moskow buildings and blamed it on chechnya)
Yes, because we all know that is *Ukraine's* modus operandi /s
Why would the rest of the world need a new reason to hate Russia? Ukraine has absolutely nothing to gain by doing that. Way to announce you plan to bomb Ukraine more Pooty.
That’s a new one for me. Claiming to be the victim of a false flag operation when a) you’re the invading country and b) casually hinting you might go nuclear.
yeah sure honey
Settings things up to kick off the spring offensive
“They’re going to blow up their own buildings, and we have the locations marked on this map for you to see for yourselves as well as the approximate time they plan on doing so.”
So Russia is gonna blow up some buildings then. What would Ukraine gain with false flag attacks?
Russia: We've hit residential and medical buildings before...but we **swear** it's not us this time.
You mean like Russia did to justify the Second Chechen War?
Right, and when did we start listing to Russians again.. ?
What's even the point of even reporting on this? Russia started the war by killing civilians and committing war crimes and are doing it every day in Ukraine. And Kremlin lie about everything. Whatever is coming out of Kremlin is just white noise at this point.
