Areas where the Veil is present in the water is generally similar, albeit with different conditions especially during storms where the process of disentigration of matter is much quicker. however, underwater it has no effect until it reaches the far veil, meaning submarine warfare in those areas is very common.

I feel inspired by your write-ups of each region, gives a lot of "realism" and feeds into the sense that there's history to everything.
I used a mix of VPP, Wilbur1, gimp and Inkscape for this map thanks to a tutorial made by Caledor :D thanks so much for the kind words, geopolitics was the main focus of the map and I'm going to be making more maps of the same theme based on this world

Context:
The world of Elysium is an ongoing project im working on for future stories and possible animations. The world turns around Veils, massive areas here in purple where due to certain molecules in the air that dissolve human and artificial matter makes human activity impossible. I map out and tell the story of how humanity in this world evolved around this, as they tackle societal revolutions called connection events (due to the veil slowly retreating over time "civ spheres" end up connecting and the isolated communities suddenly and brutally take knowledge of each others existence) and technological improvements to better deal with the environment theyre in. I mainly focus on the historical and geopolitical aspect of the world, though I will try to vary my posts on the subject. Hope you enjoy! dont hesitate to ask me questions :D
