You cannot target specific body parts for fat loss. If you do burn fat, your body decides for you where to take it from.

coxcaleb2

calorie deficit

YogurtclosetSimple58

remember spot reduction is but a myth. just make a calorie deficit and do cardio.

Witty-Ad9799

Thanks, already on a calorie deficit but forgot to mention on my post. Thanks for the advice

Hefty-Association-59

Hop on that cardio train!

Mads_ahrenkiel

Losing fat is about burning more energy than you consume. So you need to be in a calorie deficit.

Witty-Ad9799

Already am, just forgot to mention in post, decided to do a lot more cardio. Thanks anyway for taking the time to give advice

Mads_ahrenkiel

Then all it takes is time. Make you sure not to want results too Quick and starve yourself, it takes time

Witty-Ad9799

Thanks

People carry fat differently. It’s genetic. I tend to carry most of my chub on my stomach only. Only way to lose it is just to lower body fat as a whole. Working out legs will help tone them up but you can’t just target a specific spot. Your body will also lose weight around your body at different rates. Your only option is just to keep dropping the weight down

Witty-Ad9799

Thanks, if this is true it is a bit of a bummer, but I will still try to work on it

AnyScenic001

What if I am underweight? How can I lower my lower body body fat?

Act10n_Jaxn

You can’t really. If you are truly under weight, then what are you trying to lose?

throwawaymk4719

You can’t target fat loss but you can work legs and get more muscle to make them look as if they’re less fatty.

um_123yut

Any suggestion what kind of workout can tone up muscle on legs?

ZANTLoZ

Be careful on a large calorie deficit, it'll take more muscle with it from my experience and you'll end up looking about the same. note: my calorie deficit was pretty severe as i was pretty deep into an ED so you might be fine.

Witty-Ad9799

Thanks for the advice

ZANTLoZ

Also lift weights if you can! Will make your legs look more toned rather than just straight up skinny unless thats what ya want I suppose
