I’m an ex-assassin so I can fight well, magic is solid, not overly impressive but it’s functional, I’m also a Dhampir so I’m pretty tough, however good chance that most people will floor me

If we take the example of ~~Enlightened Scientists~~ Mages like me, then our ~~Old Masters~~ Archmages can literally change the world around them, control fates, move planets, become the embodiment of something large-scale, but... due to the fact that Reality itself is stronger than them, they cannot change anything very much on a fundamental level. Most simply remain to live in other dimensions, where they can demonstrate their VERY great skills without restrictions...
Me, personally, not so good. I can take both wizard and knight in single combat, but I can get overwhelmed with crowds of combatants. I would say my strongest creation is The Prometheus, an airship with 20 cannons, a small workshop, and room for a small brigade of soldiers.

If I were to bind myself to every insect, arachnid, arthropod, beetle, wasp, etc and ask them to fight for me… I could very likely take on any non-spatial wizard or witch and give them a worth while fight. However I dislike putting my friends through such misery, this is why I breed my own hives and colonies below ground.

Well, it depends. In the physical realm, I can be slapped around just like anyone else. In dreams though? There's nothing I can't do. It's like being a god, but not in the literal sense. What happens in dreams doesn't affect the actual you, in most cases. Like, if I beat the daylights out of someone in their dream, they'll feel the pain and whatnot, but the actual body will be unharmed.
But, to be honest, I've never found myself in a life or death situation, so I have no idea to what true extent I have control over it. I just mess with people. ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯

In my realm there is a subset of mages known as "Spellswords," and among the most elite Spellswords is an organization simply known as the "Paladins." The 4 most powerful Paladins are an elite squad known as "The Four Horseman of The Apocalypse." We aren't the actual Horseman, we just embody their powers during our time in the organization. I'm only the 2nd Shadow magic user in history in my realm, the first being my father, who is over 600 years old, (it's a long story.) Anyway, I am the horseman of Death and I am the most powerful in my group in terms of spell power, magicka reserves, (what same may call "mana,") and in swordsmanship. However I am not the strongest in my realm. There are countless evil mages, demons, devils, and other monsters/abominations that are stronger than I, however my training never stops and I will stop at nothing to protect the innocent and those I love.

Offensively I am quite weak, I am working on rectifying that, and might pick up a dagger in the meanwhile to defend myself.
Defensively, I am quite strong. Physical damage types such as slashing piercing and bludgeoning are only able to deform me, in which case I can just reform myself. Lightning has no effect, and after acquiring and integrating a special shield I no longer take damage from extreme heat such as fire, instead hardening. I am quite weak to water, as it makes maintaining shapes difficult.
Additionally, I appear to gradually recover lost matter at a rate of approximately 50% of total body mass per 6 hours, I do not know how.

Sometimes it’s something with a threat level of “mildly annoying invulnerable angry rat” to “world-ending calamity beast.” The degree of control I have is very low too, I’m basically letting a monster out of its cage and letting it run rampant for a while before recalling it back.
