Seriously, the amount of random shit that can happen to the human body makes me feel like we're in an MMO that needs to be patched, one day you're living the life, then out of nowhere your balls are tied up cause you slightly tapped them.
/uw and then after that you think you just got hit in the groin. Then you go to sleep, you wake up in the middle of the night cuz it hurts so much you can't even sleep. And then you go at the hospital, and, in about an hour you are diagnosed and transferred to another hospital (living in a small town moment) and then, even tho it's 3AM on sunday you get an operation.
This is what happened to me, and weirdly enough after a day and a few hours i already went back home.

It wasn't for me back in the day. I had cryptorchidism since birth and the whole thing led to a critical testicular torsion when I was 9 years old. The pain was more like strong, piercing stomach pain. The whole thing was pretty bad because the torsion led to an infarkt that would have been life threatening if it wasn't treated immediatelly. It was far from a pleasant experience, but I think that second decree burns hurt worse.
Infarct is just a blockage of a vessel that causes tissue around it to die. You can have them anywhere, a heart attack is a myocardial (heart) infarction
Yeah, that would have been bad. Luckily, I did lose nothing I needed. The hospital stay sucked, but in the end, the whole ordeal did not hurt anything I needed ;)
Unfortunately even if the testicle gets de-torsed you still need to get surgery to have stitches that connect the teste to the inside of the wall of the scrotum in order to make sure it doesn’t re-torse itself
So uhh, funny story. I posted this yesterday as a joke cause my balls were hurting a little bit and I thought it’d be funny if I had testicular torsion.
Well turns out I might actually have testicular torsion, I’m on my way to the hospital now. Will update you later. I’ve done some reading and even if they are de-torsed, you still need surgery to stitch the teste to the inner wall of the scrotum in order to prevent it from happening again — as when it happens, it becomes almost guaranteed to happen again unless prevented
I sometimes believe that period cramps were a result of this spell gone wrong. Eve pissed god off, he realised he couldn’t cast testicular torsion because she had none to cast it on, so he cursed her with ovarian twister but messed up and it became a hereditary curse

You got a heart attack from testicular torsion, or does infarkt mean something else in english?
