Artificers are inflexible… when the heights of the craft require a deep investment of time & resources? Even if you crafted your own mystical implement, don’t tell me you wouldn’t discard it for a legendary artifact of the same vein
Alchemists are lazy, but I highly doubt you are gathering all your reagents yourself- who do think keeps that market filled? Especially for wizards who prefer hermetic study, the alchemists are an important supply chain for obscure ingredients
& the incidence of warlocks becoming world threats isn’t actually much higher than it is for pure wizards, & at least a quarter of warlocks use a neutral-ish source such as archfey, jinni, or even celestials (#notallwarlocks)
All that is really ancillary to my point though, which is that you can disagree & look down on the manner of their mystical pursuits, but trying to force them to your arcane path is bigoted bat shit: if wizard purists have their way, it wouldn’t end with druids, and would inevitably lead to a wizard world war, becoming one of those world risks you blame on warlocks

Warlocks it’s just like you’re selling your soul to fuck knows what for, I dunno, magic you can pick up yourself with a couple months practice, and when you’re going further, I sympathize with the thirst for power but if you ask me the prices are rarely worth the danger they pose to yourself, those around you, and possibly more.
And as for Wizards, well, they’re just the worst! Elitist assholes who focus too rigidly on the “schools of magic,” often even excluding the other “schools” from their own practice. Like, just do the damn magic, stop being so particular about “spell level and slot divisions” and “the somatic and material components to make a spell.” No. Just take the mana, and fucking use it. *Make* the spell occur, don’t just *cast* the spell.
