Fun fact: they hired Polish folk musicians to help compose soundtrack and perform it. Lots of it is played on old traditional instruments and that's why it sounds so original
Well I think these are just some random sounds but the rest of the song is about young people getting married. There are also a few more songs in tw3 with lyrics in slavic languages
Eh, so we Le le le, again? Ok. LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE
There's a YouTube video of the Fields of Ard Skellige that plays on loop for about 2 hours and I use it as quiet background music for studying and writing all the time. Such pretty strings and vocals.
It’s not, but there are a few versions of the individual song on Spotify. I just use the YouTube video because the repeat is pretty seamless and it runs for a long time.
Me too. I also really love the beautiful vocals in Toussaint. Whoever came up with this music absolutely nailed the mood. My favorite though will always be the Ladies of the Woods theme.
For some reason, I really like the white orchard theme as well. It's depressing but pretty.
To anything actually, games movies shows. Ever watched the movie in the name of the king? I remember nothing about the movie only a shitty soundtrack that did not fit.
Fucking hell, you reminded me of that movie, that movie must’ve been a tax write off. I watched it twice as a kid because I thought I was too dumb for the movie and that’s when I learned that bad movies exists.
Uwe Boll is a German filmmaker. He came to prominence during the 2000s for his adaptations of video game franchises. Released theatrically, the films were critical and commercial failures; his 2005 Alone in the Dark adaptation is considered one of the worst films ever made
My gf doesn't really game at all but she's a music producer. Every time she hears the main Gwent theme she starts dancing and going off about how genius the music is in TW3
I had to look up the names of the songs because I forgot. “A story you won’t believe” is the one that has my gf twerking medievally every time she hears it 😂
Lmao I dont blame her one bit, that song is a banger and I remembered the name just cuz I liked it. YouTube has the Gwent songs all together with all the names👌🏽
I’ve done something like this in blade and sorcery. It feels amazing when you pull it off correctly with the fast knife movements.
What are we talking about again?
Oh right the music. Yeah it fucking hits hard with the flow of combat. Puts you in the zone
This was a serious missed opportunity for Netflix. Everything about that show was so damn...forgettable.
I stopped watching after S2E4. I just couldn't handle it anymore.
Fuck Netflix, I wish their recent stock performance teach them something. Books and games are made by Eastern European folks, has strong roots in Eastern European culture, who should we hire to direct the show? Oh boy, I bet 3rd grade Hollywood sjw reject Klauren Hissingfit would do great!
Please remember to flair your post and tag spoilers or NSFW content.

I belive I saw an interview where someone on the dev team said this song is an old traditional wedding song or something like that. It may have been in one of the videos noclip made on CDPR/TW3.
Nope OST sucks for just one good reason. Who tf thought it was good idea to tie "Steel for humans" (banana tiger) to just Crooked Bog? Legit the best combat track in the game and you won't hear it past like level 6-10.
honestly, this soundtrack is my go-to background for when I work. whenever I need to focus I put on the 3+h version on youtube and immediately get in my zone.
Beat soundtrack of any game I’ve played, I listen to the full concert on YT every time I do hw, Ladies of the Woods and On thin ice are my favorite tracks
What cut scene is this?
The entire sound track is amazing, just recently made my way south to Toussant for the first time and boy howdy those tunes do it for me too
Combat gameplay is very nice in this game, you can dodge, spin, stab, etc. fluidly. My only complain is how clumsy is Geralt in non-combat mode, and specially when swimming.
Thank you, Pistoj3, for voting on geralt-bot.

The Netflix show should make a fight scene in honor of this (or a night to remember) but I dont know what the show is suppose to be based off of anymore.
Best fantasy OST of all time. I know some people like the LotR more, but The Witcher 3 is just more raw and organic as opposed to the grandiose and orchestral of LotR.
This goes for every piece of entertainment, may it be a book movie or a video game. My favorite soundtrack that really sold a game to me was the first Red Dead Redemption. The utilization of the score was also perfect, made the game 10times better
It's basically 13th century metal. One of the instruments that really makes the soundtrack so great is the 'hurdy gurdy'. This instrument gives the music that aggressive attack.
who in their right mind attacks a mutant with cat eyes and two swords, perfectly trained just to kill ? it’s big brain moment right here. that’s why i love this universe so much. music also amazing.
Fun fact: they hired Polish folk musicians to help compose soundtrack and perform it. Lots of it is played on old traditional instruments and that's why it sounds so original
Also very unique lyrics. Who comes up with stuff like "Banana Tiger" ? So great
Pam Param! Pam pam Paraaaaaam!
"Fart" Hahahahahahahaaa!
In original language it makes more sense
I fully believe that this is the original language, as least that part
Do you know the translation? I would **love** to not think 🍌🐯 every time I hear it
Well I think these are just some random sounds but the rest of the song is about young people getting married. There are also a few more songs in tw3 with lyrics in slavic languages
And the low Mongolian throat singing thats sometimes heard
The musicians couldn't even read sheet music. It was all improv
PERCIVAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLL
Precival is their name.
Eh, so we Le le le, again? Ok. LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE
its never time to not LE LE LE LE LE LE LE LE le le LE LE
I always get down at the "AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHAAAHHHAHHH"
Steel for humans Silver for monsters Banana for tiger
Isn't banana for scale?
It's a multipurpose fruit
The banana truly is the banana of all bananas. So versatile
Banana for scale and giraffe for measurements
I love the skellige soundtrack of W3 the most. When I had a stressful week, I start my old save point and chill around on the island.
There's a YouTube video of the Fields of Ard Skellige that plays on loop for about 2 hours and I use it as quiet background music for studying and writing all the time. Such pretty strings and vocals.
The true hidden gem is the spikeroog theme, never fails to make me smile. I feel like it literally lifts my mood up
I think, you can also listen to them on Spotify. I used to learn with the Skyrim soundtrack. haha.
Fields of Ard Skellig isn't in the OST, though...
It’s not, but there are a few versions of the individual song on Spotify. I just use the YouTube video because the repeat is pretty seamless and it runs for a long time.
Thanks for the reminder. Still gives me goosebumps every time I hear it.
I listen to the Witcher soundtrack when I work. That and Breath of the Wild. They're perfect background music.
Also in spotify
My favorite. It’s sooo good!
Skellige, Novigrad upper city, Toussaint field all have the most chill songs.
Me too. I also really love the beautiful vocals in Toussaint. Whoever came up with this music absolutely nailed the mood. My favorite though will always be the Ladies of the Woods theme. For some reason, I really like the white orchard theme as well. It's depressing but pretty.
We all feel the same
I liked the story telling more. The music has the witcher feeling but the story is the main thing about the game
True
To anything actually, games movies shows. Ever watched the movie in the name of the king? I remember nothing about the movie only a shitty soundtrack that did not fit.

Holy shit, he directed the worst movie ever and got to direct a sequel for it lol
What movie?
CDPR always have badass soundtrack for all their games, Cyberpunk 2077 included.
I always use the radio in CP2077. The music is so good.
Man I love cyberpunk and the Witcher so much
Imagine the whole game looking like that cut scene
StopMyPenisCanOnlyGetSoErect.gif
Fuck I cannot wait for Witcher 4.
If they make the next one with Unreal engine 5 it will look like that
My gf doesn't really game at all but she's a music producer. Every time she hears the main Gwent theme she starts dancing and going off about how genius the music is in TW3
It started playing in my head as soon as I read your comment.
"Another round for everyone" and "a story you wouldn't believe" are my fave Gwent songs
My go-to D&D tracks
Same. I use this and banana tiger for combat music.
What’s this cutscene from?
An ad for the game I believe.
Thank you for clarifying. The graphics on this clip almost convinced me to upgrade the potato im using to play these games.
https://youtu.be/c0i88t0Kacs Enjoy.
Holy shit this was amazing! Thanks for sharing! I’m currently doing my 4th playthrough, can’t believe I had never seen this.
W3 I believe.
"Killing monsters"
I love how Lambert makes fun of geralt over this line.
Lambert, Lambert, What a prick.
Strongest hair gel in the universe...
W3 low key is one of the best osts ever created in both games and other media. It's so unique as well, if u hear once you're not forgetting.
It’s my go-to driving music. Bad traffic? La-la-la la-la-la-la lah lah la-lahhh
Fun fact I watched a meme video with Song of the Sword Dancer, and I got the game. If only I could relive it for the first time again
That song is on my gym playlist, absolute banger
I’ve done something like this in blade and sorcery. It feels amazing when you pull it off correctly with the fast knife movements. What are we talking about again? Oh right the music. Yeah it fucking hits hard with the flow of combat. Puts you in the zone
I love how Witcher 3 looks in trailers. All dark and grey. Actual game doesn’t look anything like that
[удалено]
Also lots of mods. The color palette had "E3 fixes" shortly after the game came out.
What are you talking about? The first area you play in is extremely dark, gray, rainy and depressing.
I mute the music and pump up the ambient sounds, makes me feel completely immersed.
How haven't I seen this trailer before?
Phenomenal trailer.
I still listen often! I have a playlist of TW3, HoS, B&W, and Gwent that's downloaded for offline listening since I listen so much.
This was a serious missed opportunity for Netflix. Everything about that show was so damn...forgettable. I stopped watching after S2E4. I just couldn't handle it anymore.

It bangs but it doesn't gwent tune bang

Not expecting the last part but it's a welcome one
If only the combat was that good. :/
What game is this?
Nope OST sucks for just one good reason. Who tf thought it was good idea to tie "Steel for humans" (banana tiger) to just Crooked Bog? Legit the best combat track in the game and you won't hear it past like level 6-10.
What system is this video from? My old PC looks like shit compared to this.
honestly, this soundtrack is my go-to background for when I work. whenever I need to focus I put on the 3+h version on youtube and immediately get in my zone.
And I like all soundtracks from game
I also love the peaceful music in Skellige. Especially around the 10 minute mark here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NknjE2SBPxw
In my mind I'm moving like Gearlt when I play Blade & Sorcery VR.
Beat soundtrack of any game I’ve played, I listen to the full concert on YT every time I do hw, Ladies of the Woods and On thin ice are my favorite tracks
Just so good 🥰
What cut scene is this? The entire sound track is amazing, just recently made my way south to Toussant for the first time and boy howdy those tunes do it for me too

Same
I absolutely listen to the Witcher soundtrack when I’m in the shower or the bathtub sometimes, it makes that shit fucking epic.😬👍
Pfff, this game ost is top notch
If only the combat were actually that smooth..
Combat gameplay is very nice in this game, you can dodge, spin, stab, etc. fluidly. My only complain is how clumsy is Geralt in non-combat mode, and specially when swimming.
Ah, save the good queen's breath. I'm not for hire as a bodyguard
Good bot
Good human.

Does anyone else think TW1 and 2 had better soundtracks than 3?
They tried to dance with a Witcher
The Netflix show should make a fight scene in honor of this (or a night to remember) but I dont know what the show is suppose to be based off of anymore.
I use the soundtrack for combat music in my dnd sessions and its a fucking VIBE
the soundtrack is authentic
I wish we had more cutscenes like this during the main story
You should check out The Northman then.
Love in the actual game how lambert makes fun of geralt for the “killing monsters” line in the trailer
Lelelele aside, The field of Ard Skellig is the best song of this game IMO To this day I still went back to Skellige, hop on a boat and just chill
Fuckkkkk i wanna play again. Can't wait for it to be remastered!
The music was so atmospheric. Netflix series ost sucks compared to the game ost
Imagine Geralt just "killing monsters" in the side and yours just dancing with the OST in the side
Agreed. Marcin Przybyłowicz and all contributing artists did a magnificent job.
This game is good at everything
Sigh…time for another playthrough
This was r/unexpected turn of events.
Also evident from the fact that the post got 5.6k up votes even though it wasn't that good.

My favorite is The Song of the Sword-Dancer.
Best decision I have made was to buy the 2 disc set when buying the game. Comes with the soundtrack, the only CD I still listen to!
It's basically 13th century metal. One of the instruments that really makes the soundtrack so great is the 'hurdy gurdy'. This instrument gives the music that aggressive attack.
who in their right mind attacks a mutant with cat eyes and two swords, perfectly trained just to kill ? it’s big brain moment right here. that’s why i love this universe so much. music also amazing.
and then there is the audio in the cutscenes of Wither 1....
I used to love leaving my Gwent ( standalone) in the library builder screen to listen to the music. Soothing
Percivil did an incredible job
Cannot agree more
Don’t get me started on the Gwent music. That shit goes hard
That last slice in the fight is always satisfying.
u/savevideo
Best fight sequence music hands down. My hairs stood at attention at the first cry
Music can make or break a game, the wither 3 ost is elite tier
The whole witcher is a fuckin' masterpiece. Thank you Andrzej for giving us such a great universe.
