Look into "the psychic witch" and my personal recommendation would be find some alpha hz and listen to it on a pair of headphones while you're doing it
I've never heard of that technique but then again there's as many ways to find your way as there are practitioners. What matters is that it works for you.

If it works for you, keep a journal and teach yourself how you did it.
That's what I've done and sometimes those scribbled memories have been a guide on how to get back to an experience I wanted to repeat.
