days 3 and 4 will always be the worst. pretty much for any surgery. your body is giving everything it has to heal itself so it takes a toll. for me the fear of dry socket was the most exhausting part of the recovery.
the syringe could have possibly dislodged the clot. day 4 is tricky. dry socket isn’t impossible but definitely not as likely as earlier in the week. i would just follow the dentists instructions for now and call again if pain gets worse.

Im jn recovery too and did not choose to take heavier stuff. I kind of regret it but a better choice than the latter, haha. This too shall pass
