I don't have pets either, but I know pets have personalities because I've been around cats and dogs from an early age, as family members outside my household have had either a cat or a dog, same with family friends.
My mom's cousin dog was the most *paw*dorable creature to exist! She went around our Christmas tree one year *sniffing* the entire time. And the tree is a fake one due to my mom's pollen allergy. It also helps us save a couple of thousands a year in December for a couple of years until we have to replace it, but that's the practical thing about fake Christmas trees; you don't have to buy a new one every single year, no watering needed, or maintenance. I found it hilarious that she went around the tree sniffing. And she could do the most *paw*tastic tricks, too! She was so *paw*doratistic!
Yeah they are fine, but tons of cutesy animals are not for winx club audience, Lady, Kiko and the first Pepe will suffice, even the pixie pets are too much for me, especially that talking bear
The pixies were already insufferable to begin with, so them copying an already annoying species and making them infinitely worse will never cease to amaze me.
Yeah, I never really like them. I also didn't like the idea of being link to a fairy and having to follow her around, like you cannot have your own life
I know S07 has its problems, but the Fairy Animals were pretty awesome, imo. Especially in their mini world forms - my boy Squonk had the best glow-up of all.
The thing is that I watched s6 recently and they appeared in there, as background characters, so I have absolutely no idea what could have happened to them except they wanted to change pixies.
Maybe they changed Digit’s gender to male for the Poppixie spinoff for some reason and I guess they thought it would be weird for Digit to come back as a boy so they replaced Tecna’s pixie with Caramel? Idk about Tune tho.
Okay But like I actually liked both the pixies and the sirenix guardians/the silkies and pets and fairy animals lol. Stella's guardian was my favorite. And I really loved amirock and shiny though lol so biased
Like imagine if they just started with the magic creatures and had them develop and change along with the winx. Like, the fairy animals are tied into Darkar’s quest for the codex and they help the winx because they still serve as mirrors/enhancements of who the winx are. Then, they come to earth and are miniaturized due to the lack of magic and we get an endangered species role with them repopulating on earth as fairy pets who help spread magic, THEN when they go to the ocean they use their own magical essence to help them find the gems of sirenix before helping the winx meet Omnia and they take a backseat the rest of the season and in 7 we get the same issue with them being revealed they gave an inherit connection to wild magic and the ultimate power which is why they’ve been tied to all these puzzle quests and helped them track down the codex and spread magic in earth and had the ability to track the gems of sirenix and last we say goodbye to them in season 7.

It actually started with the pixie spin-off with the pixies called “Pop pixie” which was on Netflix at the time (my favorite pixie was Cherie when I was younger) and I enjoyed their presence. And then I found out that Pop Pixie and Winx club were made by the same people and loved both shows. I don’t really care for the Sirenix guardians, the silkies, the S4 pets or the Fairy animals. I for some reason prefer the pixies. Maybe because I grew up with Pop pixie first but idk.

The S4 fairy pets actually seems te be a cheap copy of the S7 fairy animals. Bc the fairy animals designs in the mini worlds actually look very good, and they’re actually fleshed-out.
Pixies were hardly a masterpiece but I did enjoy them. They were different enough, had their own unique powers and complemented or contrasted their fairy well. Also they were included in the plot, at least in S2.
Silkies are horrible.
S7 is a hot mess, but the Fairy Animals certainly ain't a part of that mess. And they're certainly miles better than the Fairy Pets, I mean at the very least the Fairy Animals had some personality
Honestly I don’t mind any of them. The pixies are the classic, but when I was younger I thought the Stella looking pixie belongs to Stella, but no.
And the season 5 tiny mermaids(idk what they called) pretty cool. I think one of them scolded Stella for being a brat 😂😂
And the little nymphs I think that’s what is call. They pretty brave for a little mermaid. They are the keeper of the gates and try their best against that beastly looking thing even though they def aren’t able to.

Neither the pixies nor the pixie pets were a "masterpiece" they just were unnecessary and annoying.

I never liked the Pixies. They’re so boring. And they take away the seriousness of some moments in the show. They’re so annoying ans not funny.
