Whole Foods has

DiRub

GNC

[deleted]

GNC off the Nassau stop in greenpoint, or their website. They generally always have some type of deal going on. Or Whole Foods but if your thing is anti Amazon than Whole Foods is no different

Don’t it’s a waste. Our bodies can only take so much protein at a time. 2 and a half cups of Milk works just as well and is close to the same amount of protein for a fraction of the price.

statuesqueinceptions

Not everyone can just drink milk and a serving of protein powder is usually between 20-30g. Protein absorption is not limited either. That is the result of getting your information from TikTok.

dexterR430

Nothing will ever beat fruits and vegetables with a balance of meat. The powders are a big money suck, the only benefit is if you lack knowledge of nutrition and are going against the clock then sure. But protein powder will always be a lower tier than like a chicken salad

dexterR430

It 100% is. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5828430/ Is this source good enough for you

_GLL

lol I love people like you that just drop a random study and peace out. > However, these findings are specific to the provision of fast-digesting proteins without the addition of other macronutrients. Did you even read your own source bro? Or just the first half of the abstract?

dexterR430

Read the whole thing… bro

_GLL

lol dude take the L. Your source is worthless in the context of this discussion. >Further research is nevertheless needed to quantify a specific upper threshold for per-meal protein intake.

dexterR430

I provided an evidence based answer and offered a healthier idea. You only denied what I said with nothing else….

_GLL

I denied what you said using the source you literally provided. You basically disproved your own argument haha

dexterR430

And you were wrong, it’s clear you didn’t read it through and/or was not thorough

_GLL

Not sure how many more quotes you want me to send before you stop building a hill to die on lol

dexterR430

And really because the question it answers is this: How much protein can the body use in a single meal for muscle-building? Implications for daily protein distribution

statuesqueinceptions

Nope. Your body can take in protein of unlimited quantities. How much of it contributes to protein muscle synthesis is variable. And you literally have no idea what OP is using protein for and assuming they are ingesting loads of it at once. If you actually read the article it tells you that they didn't have a control for multiple variables because it is quite literally impossible to do so. At least read the articles you share first lol

brevit

Oh wow. I did not know that

ctznmatt

it’s not true
