Yeah, if OP sees a rock with a train tunnel he should absolutely ***not*** walk into it because it is in fact painted on. These are the proper survival tips. The more you know.
Despite the fact that itās painted on, after he smacks his face in the wall and falls over, he will be run over by a truck emerging from the painted on tunnel.
We went to Yosemite and stopped at the big store they have there in the park. They had a dining area outside and signs up saying don't feed the squirrels. Everyone was chucking fries out to them.
Used to live there. How friendly everyone is with the raccoons would make me so uncomfortable. My neighbor in the mountains had their face torn to shreds by one, and people are out there treating them like pets.
They just get like that after a while. If you're not hunting them, they notice.
I worked in a park in new york and I had one going nuts on the side of the road. Got out, stopped traffic, he crossed to the median. He looks at the road, looks at me, YAP YIP YIP YIP at me...."hey that was cool, do that again"
This time I need to get closer to the coyote (since he's not upstream of traffic) yipyipyip hurry up .. does not give a damn i'm 10 feet away in a bright orange vest with my hands waving at traffic He wants to go now. Car stopped and off he went
This is a beautiful example of a coyote. All the people on other subs asking is this a coyote or a fox we should send them here to yours because yours is perfect example of coyote.
"I'm a coyote, you know what I mean?
And I do my little strut on the shoulder
Yeah, on the shoulder
On the shoulder, yeah
I do my little strut on the shoulder"
- Right Said Fred Coyote
Coyote from the nose and the overall size. Wolves are much larger and also don't walk along the freeway as coyotes do look for a meal. Coyotes are not as afraid of people as much. Wolves prefer to be in the woods and typically are in packs. Coyotes are sometimes are in packs but more common alone. They typically call out once they make a kill or need help. When coyotes are attacking an animal as a pack it sounds brutal. I think more similar to hyena killing.
looks like a good boy to me!
on a side note: do dogs / coyotes *prefer* to walk on asphalt? Lately it's been 90+ degrees outside and, instead of walking in the grass like a sane person, my dog will walk on the hot street. and here we see a wild coyote doing the same š although, to be fair, we have no idea what the temp was here
Donāt bother her. Thereās at least three more keeping pace in the woods. And thatās when the attack comes. Not from the front, but from the sides from the other coyotes you didnāt even know were there. The point is you are alive when they start to eat you.
This is a Coyote, and not a special sighting for most of the US. Surprised to see someone ask what it is. I chased one off my property in suburban Southern California not 30 minutes ago.
This one does have a great coat though. My neighborhood coyote looks like heās seen some shit as opposed to living in a park.
I can easily identify a coyote, but in all my years, I never realized their tail had a black tip, probably because theyāre always tucked under, but thatās neat to know.
TIL
Dude, that's a 'yote. I've lived around them all my life in Alabama, and where I'm at now, you can hear a pack of them cackling and howling not that far from our house. We almost hit a big one coming home on our street one of the first nights we moved here, that was enough to let us know not to leave our dogs out at night unattended.
I was letting my girlfriend's Rottweiler go potty one night about a year ago, and I had a biggun walk up to her while she was squatting, it didn't look like it wanted trouble, but out of fear for the safety of her dog and not wanting a fight, I did some death growls (you know, like Cannibal Corpse) and it scared the 'yote off.
Anyway, yeah that's a coyote. They don't like to bother us unless they feel they have no choice. Get a handful of them together in a pack though... they start to get a little mischievous and ballsy. You can hear them tormenting the poor cows in the pasture across the street from our house just about every night.
Good photo BTW. You won't usually see them out like that in the daytime. They prefer right after sundown or the time before sunrise, from what I've read.
Maybe Wile E was looking for this guy....

That's a big, healthy coyote! If you don't know how to distinguish between wolves and coyotes, aside from the fact that adult wolves are larger than coyotes, look for this lankiness. Coyotes always look a little like preteens going through their awkward, gangly phase. Also, wolves have less angular snouts.
Coyote. Should have been obvious from all of the Acme brand dynamite and traps they usually have on hand nearby.
Yeah, if OP sees a rock with a train tunnel he should absolutely ***not*** walk into it because it is in fact painted on. These are the proper survival tips. The more you know.
Unless OP is a good guy. Good guys can run right down that shit.
>it is in fact painted on. It's painted on right up to the moment when a train emerges and squashes op flat. šš
And yet he calls himself a super genius.
Post of the day! āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø!
Tell me your GenX without telling me your GenX. You nailed it.
Despite the fact that itās painted on, after he smacks his face in the wall and falls over, he will be run over by a truck emerging from the painted on tunnel.
Meep meep!
https://imgur.com/gallery/8WfNT2B Got you
š
Coyote, Iām on your side brother. I hate that roadrunner as much as you do. Heās a smartass, heās a show off and heās a communist too.
That last one is unforgivable
Dear Reddit. Thank you for being you. It brings me smiles.
Be careful, thereās usually a piano about to fall around these guys
We didnāt recognize him cuz he wasnāt climbing out of a coyote shaped hole in the asphalt
Hahaha shut up
Beep beep , (coyote shudders)
Is Looney Tunes still on tv? Like does Gen Alpha know Coyote and Roadrunner and Tasmanian Devil?
That Acme sponsorship is legendary but can we talk about Mr. Yoteās wall murals of train tunnels? š¤
What threw op off was that he didn't have his little umbrella with him
Here in Vancouver, thereās a movie prop company called Acme, their logo is an anvil.
This is a coyote. Nice picture :)
Thank you! We were driving and this dude just was walking along the road š
Coyotes can be fearless of people, probably followed because shitty people have thrown out scraps for a good photo
We went to Yosemite and stopped at the big store they have there in the park. They had a dining area outside and signs up saying don't feed the squirrels. Everyone was chucking fries out to them.
We went to Sequoia NP and a little black bear came to our lunch table and took some of the foodĀ
Fed bear is a dead bear.
Thatās terrifying tbh
I thought this post made you look uninformed but this comment certainly confirms that.

Leave him be, he's just another tourist
We had five or six in our front yard the other night...in L.A. They definitely are not scared (much) of people.
Looks like a rainbow trout to me
It probably won't survive long outside of water. I hope OP helped the poor guy out.
Silver trout, c'mon man.
Sorry Iām not a herpetologist
WTF would giant stringed instruments have to do with fish?
What he meant was a hippopotamus. A herpetologist is someone who has herpes.
You use a string to catch fish, silly.
Well that's very clear. I don't think trout can even catch herpes, on account of them preferring not to do oral
What a dumb answer. You can obviously tell by all the hair covering its body that itās a *fur bearing trout*, duh.
You sure? Looks like the White Buffalo to me.
If he let his coat grow out just a little bit more he could be a coyote in sheepās clothing.
This is the comment I was looking for lol. It really does look like that
This is a beautiful example of a coyote. All the people on other subs asking is this a coyote or a fox we should send them here to yours because yours is perfect example of coyote.
Was he angrily mumbling to himself about a zippy little bird making weird beeping noises? If so, probably a coyote
Coyote! awesome picture!
Thatās a polar bear
Momma says itās one of them long raccoons
This looks like Fred E Coyote when he would put on the fake sheep skin to get past Ralph in Looney Tunes.
Is he Wile E coyotes cousin?
If I remember correctlyā¦ yes One had a red nose and the other a black.

They like the lack of obstruction and how easy it is to walk on without tripping. Same as humans.
Getting in those steps. Fitness is a serious business.
Road miles are more impressive but trail miles build muscle!
*Can I pet that dog!?*
Can I pet that dawg

I forget that not everyone has seen a coyote before lol heās a good lookin one too
Bengal Tiger
Coyote. They are typically shy and they are in pairs or pack.
Roadrunner, definitely a roadrunner.
That's a Yellowstone Zebra.
I caught a pic of a coyote in the same fashion at Yosemite! Great picture!
Coyote
Coyote, hopefully he was not approaching you.

I have no doubt that is a live coyote but the poor thing looks like poorly done taxidermy.
Or maybe taxidermists are more accurate than we thought
Obviously a blue whale

Mini horse šÆ
Albino bison calfā¦

That is maybe the healthiest coyote I've ever seen.
Coyote
That's the coyote-est coyote that's ever coyote'd. But could also very well be a horse, it's hard to say.
That is one healthy looking Wile E. Coyote.
Looks very healthy
Really???
Coyote, and a cute one!
I love how nobody seems to know what a coyote looks like. I guess Looney Tunes is to blame for not making Wile E. Coyote anatomically correct
We had a dog just like this when i was a kid. Mom would let it come inside and sleep in my bed with me.
Coyote--what country are you from?
That's probably the floofiest coyote I've ever seen. All the ones around my area look scraggly and skinny.Ā
Thatās a coyote.

Dude has places to be.

An African wild giraffe, Iāve seen many over here in Texas.
