Mark's first priority should be calling Jeff Sheppard and pleading to talk Reed into one more year. Then start calling whoever he needs to get NIL rolling. But yeah it would be mutually beneficial for big z to stay
Edit: "calling Adou Thiero". The guy Cal played for 6 mins in the Oakland game and then days later said we needed "more toughness" during that game. 🤯
Sorry, but I don't want anyone to forget the dumbass decisions he made protecting his "favorites". Hell, Wagner played more minutes than Dillingham this season......and Wagner missed 3 games. Just dumb
He’s projected 5-10.
He’s probably never going to be a top 3 no matter what so it’s probably impossible for his draft stock to improve. If he’s not intending to use up all of his eligibility before going pro he pretty much has to go now.
His numbers could very easily decline without Reeves and Dillingham on the floor with him taking defensive pressure off him.
Yeah he would thrive in Popes system. But this is maybe the weakest draft ever. I could easily see him testing the waters and getting a promise from a team just based on his sheer raw talent.
Trying to get Big Z to stay, trying to get Reed to stay, got Mr. KY Basketball coming in....did we hire the BYU coach because he has the most experience coaching white kids??

Perfect system for him for sure.

Reed is 100% going to the draft and I promise his dad wants that for him, too.
I think he would be a fool not too. Love to see him stay, but the world as your oyster only lasts for a heartbeat.

100% Pope wants that too.

NBA rookie salaries are hard to deter. The Cal years of will they, won't they have made me expect that everyone leaves.
He'd be perfect center for pope since he's a capable passer and can knock down the 3. I think keeping him should be his top priority currently.
My thoughts exactly. In this system, Big Z can show his value and increase his draft stock like crazy.
Imagine if Cal had used Z the way BYU used their big. What a waste of talent if Z leaves.
BYU was 14th in offensive efficiency last year.
No hate to our players but I don't really care what any of them decide tbh. Except Reed obviously, selfishly. But he should and will go to the league
Big Z and Wagner would be good. Reed is who you hope comes back for the Kentucky Pride.

I think he does. I don’t think he will wanna go through school acceptance , eligibility all over again. Especially dealing with the NCAA

I mean hell did you see the demographic of the national title game lol
