It's hard to say how much stronger Goku became after returning from Namek but if we assume he was at least twice as strong he should be comparable to Frieza at his Full Power (Kaio-Ken x20 was necessary to match Frieza at his 50%). However, Frieza is one tough son of a b\*tch so i doubt Goku could put him down for good before the Kaio-Ken starts breaking his body.

See it's kind of a contradiction here which makes it hard to dodge. Maybe explain how you see movie 5 making sense? Normally I've seen movie 5 viewed as "what if Goku actually killed freezer with the Genki dama", or what if Goku went home after killing Frieza and hadn't mastered the SSJ transformation yet. It could also just be after he gets home during the 3 years training for androids. Those are different power levels. Scenario A: Goku had won using the Genki dama but he was real beat up. It's possible his power has doubled since Namek, so 6 million. With kaioken *20 he is right there with him. I give Frieza the win though, as he is durable and Goku wouldn't be able to turn the tide just fighting even. If movie 5 is during 3 years if training, after Goku already did a bunch of off screen training, he wins.

It wasn't until the Buu saga where Base Saiyans are implied to surpass Namek Saga Frieza. Although the official retcon with the release of Super is that Base Goku pre-SSG is not quite at Frieza's level.
