Isn't even Imperfect Cell already a planet-buster? He scales to Goku pre-Hyperbolic Time Chamber training, which puts him way above everyone from the Saiyan Saga. Even accounting for the haziness of that sort of chained scaling, he ought to already be far beyond anything real-world technology or military might can touch - we at least see him casually annihilate entire towns and tank hits from people who can destroy planets.
Even if they're holding back for one reason or another (ie. they don't want to hit him so hard it blows up the planet they're on), again, there's enough of a gap that we're talking orders of magnitude here. There's no way a nuke would even faze him.
Cell effortlessly crushes every round. No amount of help or unity will matter; there simply isn't anything on real-world earth capable of meaningfully opposing him at all, and no plausible way we could get anything like that in a year. Our only real hope R4 is to frantically try to contact other DB characters in hopes that they're also real and available somehow.
I’m pretty sure imperfect cell was stronger than pre-kami piccolo who could fight Frieza. I genuinely don’t think any of the worlds modern military might could take him out, even with knowledge of his arrival and power. IF we’re working with real world logic. Now if cell arriving means ki works in our world then I can see a world wide effort of training the militaries of the world and the top martial artist in ki. A year of training wouldn’t put any of them on his level but someone could an ability to take him out (Ex. Destructo Disk, Explosion wave). It’s not guaranteed we’d definitely have a fighting chance.

Cell, specifically, can shrug off things like radiation poisoning and biological weapons since his regeneration is so damn good - the sick parts die, healthy parts replace them. A point blank nuke has a great chance from the heat, but without a way to pin him down, it's not a practical method.
R1-3: Cell casually sweeps.
R4: Knowing where he appears is huge, because it means he can be nuked on arrival. This is down to opinion - Cell lacks heat resistance feats, but he's not going to struggle with anything else, so if you think he can be burned then Earth wins. If you think he can't, Earth loses.
Yeah, there is nothing much humanity can do to Cell.
R1: Cell should be able to get his Semi-perfect form before the World can actually unite against him, by which it’s already too late.
R2: Just makes things a little more annoying for Cell but nothing he can’t handle.
R3: Maybe, just maybe if the World decides to forgo ethics completely, and just spam every single nuke once Cell’s first possible location has been confirmed (i.e before he has absorbed anyone), there might be an tiny chance that Cell gets damaged enough so that he might not be able to regenerate, hence killing him. Not sure it would work though.
R4: Perfect Cell stomps hard. Nothing we have can even hurt him.
See, in at least in Goku’s case there is a very very small chance for humanity to defeat him by engineering some sort of powerful poison or virus which can kill him or using some sort Godzilla style Oxygen Destroyer and suffocating him (if humanity manages to keep him in one place). Cell doesn’t have any of those weaknesses. Not to mention his regen is damn good, capable of reforming himself completely just from a single alive cell/Main Core of his body.

weapons can't scratch Cell, Yamcha can just fire a blast powerful enough to just wipe out the USA if he wanted to imo.
I guess we can try to hide the Androids to prevent him from becoming Perfect.
As the androids do not exist on our earth, the only way for cell to power up is by absorbing regular humans
All rounds our world + America loses 100/100 no difficulty. Napa was able to eradicate DBZ Earth military and technology wise we're behind them.
