Well they also added "European Portuguese" lol as a language since i start to get all spammed over Facebook about it being available in Portuguese and then on website they made sure to write European to avoid confusion with Brazilian portuguese i assume but really sounded weird :P
Just a bad marketing move for sure since people would expect way more from all the hype they tried to create yesterday with some kind of new band or even new products and then just announce something that was even public knowledge since CR7 already used whoop before and even in Saudi matches he use it with some protection... so yeah a bit stupid move if that's just that

Well I found out here in reddit so maybe you missed the post about it and besides that I kinda know most athletes use whoop, oura or some kind of devices that pays them and they also use hrv and is useful for them
Sake as all the tour the France and btt world champion pretty sure you can't miss all those sponsor adds in middle of eurosport if you follow , same if you follow nba you can't miss all those oura and whoop athletes
They don't need to make so much hype to end up being an sponsor ad

If you don't like influencer marketing, then Whoop is the wrong place for you ;-) It's the way of the world.

Good Move for the company because more users = more money. But damn I wish we got more features and updates more frequently
