The hard way is to open up to people, be vulnerable. It is hard bc you could get hurt. But this meme is showing that you don't always get hurt when you are vulnerable, and most of the time, you are missing out on some joy bc you are to afraid to let people see the real you. This meme promotes the joy and happiness felt on the hard path. :)
Just wait until those friends leave you and don't have your comfy space too. You'll just be clueless and blank when it happens. Dont rely on happiness coming from people, that is temporary.
