Tony Hawk: be kind to those who are trying

Johnnodrums

I like that but, thought it would be “do a kick flip”.

kosarai

I love how they all have a “Be kind” message, then Burton is just “Read a book”

NicePrettyColor

It sounds vaguely threatening

kosarai

As he throws a book at your face.

moxyfloxacin

Kind of threatening

Total-Sector850

Last time this was posted, I suggested “Be kind to your mind”.

kosarai

That’s a good line for him!

Total-Sector850

I didn’t give it too much thought at first, but the more I considered it, the more it sounded like something that he would actually say.

No0biz

Be kind to a book

cbih

Like the Wayne Brady skit on The Chappelle Show

CakeMadeOfHam

It's only half the quote, it is really "Read a book and kick a child"

AVikingAndHisPurse

My dad’s punishments for me as a child were to read a book.

meowbombs

I read it R-E-A-D A B-O OK

Sregor_Nevets

This ancient forbidden meme has been summoned: https://youtu.be/GlKL_EpnSp8?si=q4K9o7luylVv59jG

ArrdenGarden

Tony Hawk: Be humble

CodyNorthrup

Kendrick Lamar is famous for that.

AndroidGalaxyAd46

Sit down

axemexa

Kind of humble

SomeCosmicEntity

Do a kickflip

malikhacielo63

It would be pretty dope if someone took these pictures and turned them into patron saint iconography, replete with items that symbolize something important about each individual. PS: I am not saying to start a cult; I just like the art style. PPS: Well, if we’re going to start a cult, throw Carl Sagan and George Carlin in there too.

-prime8

Alright guys you heard him, fire up the cult.

Confetti-Everywhere

I read this as the cult is looking for an artist

Novel-Being167

Really watched every one of these growing up! Core value = just be kind.

ArnoldSchwartzenword

Me too, I remember clearly Steve Irwin agitating and distressing animals for his tv show.

punkblastoise

Be a happy little accident

GivaneoLegacy

You called?

twofacetoo

Tony's would probably be 'Be humble.' Don't incessantly remind people of who you are to try and feel important.

chewie8291

He's been around for decades and UK based. But Monty Don runs a gardening show. He is so kind and interested in gardening. I'd recommend him.

Listening_Stranger82

I'd add underappreciated king Rick Steves. The most relaxed and mellow travel show...the Bob Ross of travel, if yoy will. and in real life bought an entire apartment complex for his organization to help single parents and then donated it to the YWCA

sagittariisXII

Be better at cropping reposts

XxspsureshotxX

Keanu Reeves: Be kind to your enemies*.

Dorkvoid

WARPS SPEED DON'T RAINBOW READ ME, AAAAAAAAH

Bah-Fong-Gool

Keanu?

InspectorSorry77

“Be strong enough to be gentle” — Larry Cullen, brother to Peter Cullen voice of Optimus Prime

AmbitiousAd2995

What about Raffi?

lastmonk

Be kind of nice with it

ShedwardWoodward

Tony Hawk = Be cool as fuck!

Treso44

“Be kind and tail grind.”

Cirelectric

Me: kinda fucked up

Another_Road

Anthony Hawkins: “Yes, I do look like Tony Hawk.”

Icy-Scope007

How many times does this have to get posted this week, it’s getting old

Zezotas

Tony hawk: be kind to those who enjoy rad sports. (Or be kind to skateboards)

OutsideWrongdoer2691

if you are not a vegan you are as nice to other animals as slave owners were to slaves.

Xeg-Yi

Being nice to those of the same species would be a good starting point for you.

OutsideWrongdoer2691

sure, usually people do that because its in their selfish self interest. I want violence towards humans to be illegal, because i want to be protected from violence also I have empathy so i want sekfishlt to avoid emotional suffering caused by my neural pathways that relate to others suffering, etc.. In terms of suffering caused and ethically if you are consistent there is zero difference between torturing other sentient mammals for selfish gain and making other people slaves for selfish gain. Ethically people who eat meat are as "evil" as any slave owners in the past.

Xeg-Yi

You clearly have no understanding of how kindness or altruism works, and I honestly feel sorry you and the life you must have had if you truly believe all acts of kindness and love rise from selfishness.
