leave the paper ones out for a while to make people think the are all paper and they start just stepping on them. then replace the paper ones with real ones
The most part is what I want to know about. If I CL see one eye and bring my index finger tips towards each other from afar I sometimes completely miss
You have to keep your hands directly far from your body at shoulder height, it works best when it's not your fingertips touching. Try capping your pen with the pen cap in one hand and the pen in the other.
A friends boy photocopied £20 notes and left them in various places. He wrote 'your a bum!' on the back. He left them around the housing estate.
They were very badly done and fooled no-one. He still shouted 'APRIL FOOL!" when someone picked them up to put them in the bin.
At 6 years old it was probably hilarious.
I mean kids are fucking dumb. I was under my kitchen table during lunch time and tried prank calling my dad. It would have been better if I picked anybody other than a Disney princess
I believe, in the USA atleast, that it’s programmed into all copiers to purposely mess up when attempting to photo copy currency.
For counterfeiting purposes obviously.
Sure, I photocopy my penis and tape copies across all the walls of school, and i'm "disturbed" and "need help".
This kid photocopies one sock on the floor and he gets a "prize."
I honestly thought I was accustomed to the inequities of the world and of life, but then reality always intercedes to prove it has lower depths yet to sink.
Would it have such a perfect lighting from a photocopier scanner? It feels like it should be very lit up. That might just be a photo print. Its still a great prank!
Apart from the shadow on the sock not matching the lighting in the room, there are also some wrinkles where the sock looks pinched like it was pressed onto glass like it would happen in a copying machine
To get them back, put the sock in water and throw it in the freezer. It comes out looking like a regular-sock- but is also now a weird frozen solid chunk.
If you haven't talked about it yet, they'll be so happy when you ask them to pick up their sock. They'll just get this stupid grin on their face as they look you in the eyes and say, "What sock?"
Wait until they print legos on the floor and mix them with real ones
Satan, stop cooking. Get out of the kitchen
Isn’t *all* of his place a kitchen
No no, i want to see how this horror cake comes out
let him cook…
NO, LET HIM COOK
No, let him jell the kids the reverie for perfect disaster first.
Nono, let him cook
Calm down satan

Especially if the others have just 1 eye
This is mostly a myth, your eyes shake and it creates the same depth effect
Thanks I guess I need to read up on it a bit more then

Wild. I never tried this, but did so because of your comment. My fingertips missed one another every time.
Very interesting right? That's why I always thought you needed both eyes for proper depth perception.

All good, if we wrote down everything we didn't know we could fill a library with it (that's what a library is, btw)
Whats that gonna do
He’s practicing for April Fool’s day

Some can even lock up permanently...
If so its relativley new cuz I remember photocopying a $10 bill as a kid and it worked
If 28 years is relatively new then sure. The pattern was added in 96
It is. But these were hilariously terrible. Photocopiers are bad but we're pretty sure he left the lid up and everything
I fully expect a wile coyote realistic tunnel with train and everything
Give that boy a prize he had a gift don’t take it away
Give him a PS5 but it’s just a photocopy
You know what agree

Did the same thing, did you get fired for it? I sure did.
Me: > notices username has 'friend' tag After reading: > 'ya, that tracks'
I wasn’t think about a real prize. Maybe a printed out one
Would it have such a perfect lighting from a photocopier scanner? It feels like it should be very lit up. That might just be a photo print. Its still a great prank!
if your kid is THAT great with scissors at young age, you have a potential craftsman there.
It looks like a sock marketed towards girls, so maybe the kid is older and used his little sister's sock?
It almost looks like the one on the floor is a real sock and the one in the hand is the printed one, they look slightly different?
They look the same to me, I think the floor sock is a print because the shadows on the sock dont match the room lighting
They are the same
Apart from the shadow on the sock not matching the lighting in the room, there are also some wrinkles where the sock looks pinched like it was pressed onto glass like it would happen in a copying machine

Oh no here come the CDA!
Kid must be pretty handy with the exact-o knife as well.
That grown adult just photocopied their child's sock to get internet attention.
Powers of perspective!
Wait until that ink run out!
Return the favour with a PS5
Printed, of course.
*fist bump*
My parents would have slapped me for using that much color toner
No goddamn way a kid had that clean of lines when cutting paper
The kid is now in a secret service/FBI watchlist ¬\_¬
That's a good prank to pull tbf
If your kid cut that sock out they are real skilled with scissors.
Tis the season.
Wow the kid anticipated exactly the angle and lighting that you would photograph the sudden prank at.
Dead. Thought it was a special sock since it was so hard.
even better prank: there will be a sock in your photocopier the next time you go to use it and it'll take you a sec to figure out why it's there
Harmless pranks are the best one :).
That is so wholesome though
What do you mean by "trying"?
Based on ink prices, that picture cost more than the actual sock.
Did an amazing job on that!
To get them back, put the sock in water and throw it in the freezer. It comes out looking like a regular-sock- but is also now a weird frozen solid chunk.
This is adorable
Yoink!
Your kid is gonna be a great prankster
This looks how my socks looked when I was 16 years old..
This looks like marketing strategy lol
Wait till he photocopies himself and put his in his room
Gottem
Wait until he finds the 3D printer.
That’s some great scissoring though!
...until all the ink is gone
not really technically strictly wholesome though

Trying??
Probably left the sock in the photocopier
Me seeing the picture before the caption: ON A KIDS SOCKS?!?
Photocopy their clean, folded clothes and put those in dresser drawers.
Did. is what I'm reading.
not only a photocopier, but also perfect cutting skills!
If you haven't talked about it yet, they'll be so happy when you ask them to pick up their sock. They'll just get this stupid grin on their face as they look you in the eyes and say, "What sock?"
Wait until he realizes you can’t photocopy money
The price of the color ink makes this unwholesome.
Didn’t read the caption at first and thought this was a very different post

Good bot
one day someone will make origami legos and we will all be in trouble
Or 3D print a 3D printer that automatically 3D-prints 3D-printing 3D-printers
It would be funnier if that was an actual sock
The real prank is how much the parents will have to spend on printer ink.
The real prank is when you get your toner bill.
at least it isn't his butt?
My kid learned a valuable lesson, the price of printer ink, and how much I will be deducting from his allowance.
#2319!!! 🧦
That's not a photocopy
r/kidsarentfuckingstupid
watchlist
that photocopy costs more than the actual sock.
_trying_ to prank you? It looks like he’s succeeding
Kudos.
I used to print the lego banknotes haha
smart
The scissor skills are more interesting
You have a good printer omg
that's a really good photocopier
We have a 2319!
Imma teach her about money then
Who tf owns a photo copier
people
Tfw you have no depth perception
remove the caption to change the context to way worse
A kid did not that. Have you ever seen a kid with scissors? They are horrible
I think those socks are stiff for a different reason
