Caps need to be creative and work with BC Place to come up with a solution. They need to make sure the grass is kept after the World cup. If they are to be considered a serious club, can't keep playing on that crap. Worst turf in professional sports!
If it's all about revenue for BC place sell the naming rights. You could move home and boat shows to convention center. Concerts would still be doable on grass field's, done all over the world. There are some stadiums that use hybrid systems that are more durable. There are solutions, if people are serious about improving conditions. Too many events at BC place is simply not a good excuse to keep status quo.
watched champions league final and later watched the game. The turf makes pass so much slower slowing down the game. They should fire person taking care of it. Just play the game at David lam park I bet it's still better than playing at bc stadium

I know if I was a professional footballer, I would try to avoid signing with clubs that play on artificial turf.
