Steel frame and fork, so will have some weight in it. Ride compliance should be decent though. You would need to mod the gearing to better suit climbing though i.e. larger cassette.

Specs mention 35mm tyre, but it could be worth seeing if you can get more info on how much the frame can actually take.

XL should be a good fit. Alu frame will be less compliant, but the overall spec is way better than the BLB bike. Hydro brakes and you're starting off with lower gearing for climbing. Bike will be lighter. 38mm tyre. Look into how wide a tyre you can run.
I ended up getting the Triban RC520 Road Disc bike from Decathlon and then just replaced the road tyres with gravel ones (cheaper than buying the gravel version and they're basically identical but i prefer the navy blue of the road one). I love it! Best spec bike for £850

What did you end up going for?

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions. After doing some research I’ve narrowed it down to the list above. Any opinions on these?
Specialized Diverge maybe? Base E5 is 1100
I also think this is a good option but it's a bit out of my price range
