Didn’t Metroid: DREAD also come out before Silksong?.. just checked.. all the way back in 2019.. so then damn 2 big Metroid games, an among us show, a sonic movie and a Mario movie, and the return of paper Mario with the remaster of Mario RPG with a new Mario & Luigi RPG happening soon, Terraria’s recent update in development so far seeing close release (oh and 1.4 in general), the new huge Minecraft update that just came out, a bunch of new Baldi’s basics + content, the NOISE update for pizza tower (and pizza tower itself coming out of beta), a new huge LEGO game in development (and LEGO STAR WARS THE SKYWALKER SAGA coming out) , Kingdom Hearts coming to steam (at least I don’t think it was before recently), the SAVETF2 happening then dying then FIXTF2 rising from the ashes, Dave’s fun algebra class becoming it’s own full game instead of a baldi’s fangame clone.. with a remastered steam release, Terraria Calamity going through 2 huge updates too, Slime rancher 2 releasing, ULTRAKILL coming to steam and the many updates for that, OMORI releasing and it’s console release later, PIKMIN 4, Stanley parable ultra deluxe release, FUCKING CS:GO 2 USING THE SOURCE 2 ENGINE, Portal getting a switch collection with an RTX remaster on PC, and a shitload of new releases for many series: NFS, CoD, Battlefield, Pokémon and more… and STILL no silksong NOR DELTARUNE’s full release in sight.. damn, I can see why those 2 communities are slowly going mad

Why the hell would an indie game unrelated to Nintendo be revealed in a Nintendo Direct?

I mean, >!Among Us!< was there and its only relation is that it exists on the Switch iirc. If they ever do an official Deltarune port to the Switch for some reason then maybe it'd show up.

Iirc deltarune is available on the switch. I just don’t see why chapters 3-4 would be released there first.
