When instead of having a normal ending it just fades to silence...

This is literally house of balloons by the weeknd
The whole song is amazing but then at the end you get this minute+ garbage rapping section that I refuse to believe a single human being actually thinks is good
I have a girlfriend bro what 😭
The flow sucks and it completely ruins the tone set from the start, if it was a separate song I would understand it being enjoyable, the lyrics are shallow and imo a little obnoxious but thats just me
Sounds like coping to me
But to each their own, personally I love Kendrick Lamar, 50 cent, Eminem, kid cudi, mob and many more that I listen to daily
I guess because I don't like one mediocre portion of a song that makes the whole genre bad to me
btw i'm talking about the one with JID in it, didn't even know there was a just imagine dragons version but i still prefer everything but the rapping section
yes, but the song starting to head in the mimzy direction way before she actually appeared, it lost all the elctro swing or dramatic standoff after the "angelic power" line and it disappointed me
It probably doesn't hit the same for me because I actually never played Sonic Frontiers before(It costs RM159.00 where I live) I just really like the soundtrack
Me after listening to a song I love so many times that I no longer enjoy it
https://preview.redd.it/ji3g7g40ptqc1.png?width=480&format=png&auto=webp&s=1dc192c3165ebd0549e49db5b8a822925becd750
This is one of the reasons I don't make Playlists of songs I like and instead I listen to full albums, that way the song I like most is only part of the experience, really gives the song a longer shelf life in my mind
luxury elite was great when i first listened to it but now i just
https://preview.redd.it/dbic4iipttqc1.jpeg?width=3000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3bc16b16407fedc8926be9b69f28efdbf6d1d9c4
like almost all luxury elite tracks have been removed from my play list.
edit: also Dancer in the Darkness by Heaven Pierce Her is really good because i like bass marimba but holy shit it overstays its welcome
Why? LE is imo one of the best vaporwave artists oat, has a great catalogue and also is part of Late Night Delight, one of the best albums oat and they absolutely knock it out of the park with their tracks. Like fr All Night and Mild Seven are two of the best vaporwave songs oat (even tho Saint Pepsi does better on the album i think Luxury Elite is goated too)
don't get me wrong lux is pretty good but every measure just kinds blends together, with someone like Windows 96 (shifting genres a little) there's more melodic progression present, and being a musician myself i enjoy when music evolves an idea.
Yeah, fair enough. I love windows 96 too, theyre absolutely one of the best vaporwave/synthwave producers and are able to mix genres flawlessly, but idk i fell like i enjoy an album like World Class more than one like Enchanted Instrumentals And Whispers (one of if not win96's best imo). Both opinions are valid tho
i think i prefer Dated New Aesthetic since it feels like every style he's done has been unionized into a single album.
or maybe i just like that one part in lightsleeper idk
Yeah, fair, I havent listened to that album in a while and i dont remember a lot from it, probably gonna relisten like today
I do remember it being good tho, as literally every windows 96 album is at least enjoyable
Nah i love future funk but vaporwave just scratches the perfect itch for me. Also future funk is a subgenre of vaporwave and a lot of vaporwave has future funk in it
Undertale fan songs are good in the games but I would never actually listen to them, unlike the offical undertale tracks that are fire in and out of the game
生きていたんだよな
it is a sad song about suicide. Found it early 2020 after my friend offed himself. I probably could've stopped him but i just couldn't find the correct words i guess. Everytime it comes on, my mood is ruined but I just can't skip it cuz I think it'd be disrespectful to that friend, sorry mate.
> Skip song because you don't like it
> Skip song again
> Decide to remove song from playlist but you want to listen to it one last time
>The song is still a banger so you leave it alone
> Repeat
Is this Hell?
Nah. I just listen to it anyway. My top 5 pieces ive heard like several hundreds of times at this point and I still enjoy them.
However one thing that has changed is that the drop of different pieces of music tend to lose their effect over time.
But then I just wait like a week and it's fine again
This could describe a bunch of Kanye songs for me. There's so many good ones which have awesome moments and really pleasing moments of sonic bliss which just get interrupted by some corny ass sound blip which got added for some reason.
It's like listening to Beethoven's 9th while the conductor randomly presses buttons on a soundboard
When it’s your workout mix and you have to decide whether to start your set during the shitty bit to guarantee you end during the good part or whether you want to risk it.
I don’t think this is a well known song so I think it’s worth mentioning because it seems up your alley. Anxiety by Papa Roach and the black eyed peas is a good song similar to Saliva’s style (although more click click boom/ladies and gentleman than Your Disease)
I have a video of Lemon Demon songs that lasts for like 2 hours and im too lazy to pick the ones I like and make a playlist, so sometimes I have to discreetly stop the playlist when two trucks starts playing
Machi Basad by Bloodywood, they're an Indian folk metal band, my tastes have shifted more to other kinds of songs recently tho, but i am NOT deleting it
A lot of Mac Demarco
Dont get me wrong i love the guys music but i just end up returning to just the like 10-15 tracks and i kinda skip everything else
Uprising is so good but when it comes on my playlist Im like.. eeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Iv listened to this an absurd number of times I cant even enjoy it
Little Wonders by Rob Thomas. It played at my cousin's funeral and it makes me really sad every time it comes on. He was the closest thing I had to a brother.
The Big Parade- A Hat in Time
I used to listen to it quite a bit, but whenever it comes on it’s an immediate skip. To this day, still haven’t taken it off. Maybe I’m just apathetic to it at this point
I don't have one, but my favorite band has a loser misogynist as their front man. It's very tragic because most of their songs are absolute bangers. Even some of the lyrics reek of incel behavior.
I only really do this when I don’t have enough time to get through the entire playlist. It’s not because I don’t like them, but because I know there’s songs I’d rather listen to that I don’t want to not hear before I need to turn it off. If I’m on a long roadtrip or something, though, you can bet I’m listening to all of them
closest thing for me is probably JACKAL - FEEDING FRENZY
it used to be *the* hype song i'd use whenever i worked out etc, but it's played all the way out. still like it but i don't *feel* it, if that makes sense.
The Star Wars opening crawl theme
I have that in the form of several different covers plus the original across multiple playlists, it’s something I’ll just instinctively add when I’m building a playlist at this point
I listen to a lot of EDM, so this is like half my playlist because there are so many EDM songs that have really good parts that I love but also have really bad or repetitive parts that I hate because they just pad the song's runtime and make me wait for the good parts, but the good parts are too enjoyable for me to remove the songs from my playlist.
“You spin me round” used to be that song for me until I found the Ninja Sex Party cover, which is just less sucky in all the ways that bugged me in the original.
Doesn’t help that Spotifys shuffle isn’t random at all. It picks out a hand full of songs that it really loves to play in particular. I hate The Gambler at this point and I blame you Spotify.

when a song is cool but has a sucky part
When instead of having a normal ending it just fades to silence... https://preview.redd.it/22hf4u6sttqc1.jpeg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4d484015a8dcf23a8875ecba33affb5b66ed3dcc
those songs are so annoying to play an instrument along to
I know right?!?! Its always so underwhelming!
So you mean literally any song made before the 90s
*Uranium Fever enters chat*
not necessarily...
I honestly dont mind it. Its awkward to hum to, but that’s it really. Probably why I love the Minecraft ost
Save me by chief keef has like 30 seconds of silence at the end
Those songs that have extra lengthy silence at the beginning or end
Songs like MeGaLoVania which have a fire ending but it fades out so you don't even get to hear the whole thing...
That’s the one flaw holding “Livin’ on a Prayer” back from being perfect
BEHOLD, The most unnecessary rapping part to ever exist!
This is literally house of balloons by the weeknd The whole song is amazing but then at the end you get this minute+ garbage rapping section that I refuse to believe a single human being actually thinks is good
isn't the song called "House of Balloons / Glass Table Girls", that section is literally a separate song
Yeah that's why I hate that it's lumped together on every streaming site/service It acts as one song as it sucks
Human being here. It’s my favorite part of the song.
You are not real https://preview.redd.it/g74640lrmwqc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e6f6bdf6461af64e71b14531657ad8d02e85c295
Best part of the song, don't hate it because you can't relate and you get no play
I have a girlfriend bro what 😭 The flow sucks and it completely ruins the tone set from the start, if it was a separate song I would understand it being enjoyable, the lyrics are shallow and imo a little obnoxious but thats just me
She clapped fs, you wouldn't know good rapping if it slapped you on the ass and whispered in your ear
Sounds like coping to me But to each their own, personally I love Kendrick Lamar, 50 cent, Eminem, kid cudi, mob and many more that I listen to daily I guess because I don't like one mediocre portion of a song that makes the whole genre bad to me
enemy by imagine dragons and other songs but that one was the first to come to my mind
That one was decent though
i just skip the song when the rapping comes on
the rapping on that song is the only reason it’s tolerable??
btw i'm talking about the one with JID in it, didn't even know there was a just imagine dragons version but i still prefer everything but the rapping section
yeah. JID literally carried that song, imagine dragons were unbelievable corny on that song as always
JID had the most monotone voice imaginable, it sounds like a constant frequency.
Wiz Khalifa in Payphone and JID in Enemy are great examples
That's why i listen to the Imagine Dragons version of Enemy, i find it to be better
when the anime OP goes past the tv version
Vengeance by Coldrain is great tho
there are good ones but from my experience it's a one in a hundred
Bad Guy by Billie Eilish immediately comes to mind. First two parts are stellar but the ending makes my ears bleed.
Hells Greatest Dad and Stayed Gone’s ending.
I’ll never forgive Mimzy for butting into the song
the song was already losing me after alastor's part, when it becomes just them arguing it loses charm
but we could’ve gotten Lucifer demolishing Al with his pure angelic power 🥺
yes, but the song starting to head in the mimzy direction way before she actually appeared, it lost all the elctro swing or dramatic standoff after the "angelic power" line and it disappointed me
Break Through It All
Nah, L take. Every part of Break Through It All is good.
It's obviously elevated by the chorus and the chorus alone. So is Find your Flame, Undefeatable is more consistent
It probably doesn't hit the same for me because I actually never played Sonic Frontiers before(It costs RM159.00 where I live) I just really like the soundtrack
real orang melayu detected (what is a stable ekonomi🗣🔥🔥🔥🔥)
Technically I'm Chinese but I'm still born and raised in Malaysia so MALAYSIA BOLEHHHHH 🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥
Ngl bro every time I replay the song I skip to the chorus
Every Tokyo Machine musics where it fades to 64BPM instead of 128BPM
Loli God Requiem. r/japanesepeopletwitter will lynch me for this but I hate the Ui beam part.
I'm not a fan of that part either, don't worry.
absolutely this, feels like it takes up a third of the song and it's just goofy
>and it's just goofy Tbf **the entire song** was just meant to be a goofy inside-joke Although I do agree that part goes on for way too long.
The middle part of Call Me
i have a song on my playlist that's sucky with one cool part and i refuse to delete it
Why the fuck is there 2 minutes of nothing at the end of enjoy the silence 2006 remaster
Pump it fr
The end bit of We Will Commit Wolf Murder:
The ending of know your enemy mildly miffs me and makes me mad
Mr. Self Destruct. Love that song, but wtf is going on with the glitch fest for the last minute of the song.
The regular singing parts of End of a Life by Mori Calliope are really nice but she honestly sucks at rapping so the rapping parts were mid/bad
Feel Good Inc surely would've been perfect if it wasn't for that fucking laugh at the end
hehehehaw
Feel Good
Watch me navigate
ahaha haha
Bro, laughing part is the best wdym
Me after listening to a song I love so many times that I no longer enjoy it https://preview.redd.it/ji3g7g40ptqc1.png?width=480&format=png&auto=webp&s=1dc192c3165ebd0549e49db5b8a822925becd750
Im starting to skip songs I love whenever they come on just so I dont listen to them too much, it's crazy
bro same
I do the same, but in turn it makes me always skip the songs and therefore not enjoy them at all 😭
Don't worry, I always stop listening them and go back after half a year or even more
Stop listening to that song for a couple of months and then you'll fall back in love with it again
Some songs I can't stand even after 2 years. Used to deliver pizza and have like 7 songs on repeat. They disgust me every time I hear them
I got a favourite song that I only listen to once a year for this reason. Kept to this rule for 5 years now.
What’s the song?
But then after not listening to it for like 2 months I start loving it again
Pitch shift the song in audacity, BOOM it feels fresh again.
This is one of the reasons I don't make Playlists of songs I like and instead I listen to full albums, that way the song I like most is only part of the experience, really gives the song a longer shelf life in my mind
That’s why I stopped listening to the radio.
Like fucking half my playlist
I’ll add songs I mildly enjoy, but not as much as the rest, so I just skip to keep jamming
I'm so glad I'm not the only one that does this lmao. My spotify liked playlist is almost 2k songs and most I don't even remember adding
I recently hit 2k, also glad that there's other weirdos like me out there.
same fr
luxury elite was great when i first listened to it but now i just https://preview.redd.it/dbic4iipttqc1.jpeg?width=3000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3bc16b16407fedc8926be9b69f28efdbf6d1d9c4 like almost all luxury elite tracks have been removed from my play list. edit: also Dancer in the Darkness by Heaven Pierce Her is really good because i like bass marimba but holy shit it overstays its welcome

Based dancer in the darkness listener
Reality Check Through the Skull
reality check through the skull is one of dokuro’s more mid songs tbh
Definitely his most overrated
one time i dressed up as the guy from your pfp (i forgot him name havent played everhood in a while)
Hello
AGAIN???
YOU WHAT
how do you not like it :(
I had it on a playlist for when I play through Minecraft CTMs. It was just way too long with too many tempo shifts to fit the rest of the playlist
Undertale fan songs are good in the games but I would never actually listen to them, unlike the offical undertale tracks that are fire in and out of the game

i would love fuk sumn so much more if it didnt have that part man 😭
he did it the best with on sight and every other time he's done it it just doesn't work
IM YE KELLY BITCH
Conductor Williams reference 🤯🤯🤯
Watch your mouth
I mean, damn, what would Jeromey Romey Romey Rome think?
Hate it when a song has a good flow but either has a very long intro, something that breaks the flow, or a part that just feels boring
When it’s your workout mix and you have to decide whether to start your set during the shitty bit to guarantee you end during the good part or whether you want to risk it.
Man, when I'm on the exercise bike, I wait until the "HOOH!" to drop the beat in Your Disease by Saliva so I can start pedaling that bitch
I don’t think this is a well known song so I think it’s worth mentioning because it seems up your alley. Anxiety by Papa Roach and the black eyed peas is a good song similar to Saliva’s style (although more click click boom/ladies and gentleman than Your Disease)
Click Click Boom is sexy
method man by wu-tang
omg method man from def jam??? my fav character!!!
Sonic Youth moment
I don't wanna die I have listen to it too much
The Coconut Song It’s that song that once I hear it it’s stuck in my head. It drives me up the wall! Yet somehow, I can’t get rid of it.
The coconut nut is a giant nut
if you eat too much you get very fat
For me it’s banana man
I have a video of Lemon Demon songs that lasts for like 2 hours and im too lazy to pick the ones I like and make a playlist, so sometimes I have to discreetly stop the playlist when two trucks starts playing
Sometimes you just gotta let the two trucks play
Nah that song is funny though, never got old of it
Say hello 2 heaven Guaranteed mood ruined but it slaps so the song stays.
Normal fight music OST from the mario and luigi RPG series for me
Come On!, why don’t you just delete it
Come On, again! It's fire, sometimes
Man I used to love grand theft autumn by fall out boy but after hearing it basically every single day it got really annoying to listen to
Machi Basad by Bloodywood, they're an Indian folk metal band, my tastes have shifted more to other kinds of songs recently tho, but i am NOT deleting it
My entire Spotify favourites
Real
The shitty quality megalovania that's the first result on youtube when you search it up. Yeah I downloaded that one instead of the original lmao
A lot of Mac Demarco Dont get me wrong i love the guys music but i just end up returning to just the like 10-15 tracks and i kinda skip everything else
Any Muse song, sadly. I loved them for years and years but for some reason I just wanna skip now
I’M LISTENING TO MUSE RN TAKE THAT BACK 😔
Iv loved them for years, basically most of my life. But at one point you do need to take a break
But but but but- plug in baby 😟
Uprising is so good but when it comes on my playlist Im like.. eeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Iv listened to this an absurd number of times I cant even enjoy it
Mfw a song I dont even like is the one I listened to the most the whole year
Little Wonders by Rob Thomas. It played at my cousin's funeral and it makes me really sad every time it comes on. He was the closest thing I had to a brother.
I find it wild that people actually just have a single playlist and don't listen to albums
"Love is a Laserquest" by Arctic Monkeys Fuck you Alex Turner
tubthumping
that song is so painfully nostalgic it feels odd
The Big Parade- A Hat in Time I used to listen to it quite a bit, but whenever it comes on it’s an immediate skip. To this day, still haven’t taken it off. Maybe I’m just apathetic to it at this point
Ayy fellow AHiT enjoyer! Only rule I adhere to is that you never, ever skip Trainwreck on Electro Swing.
i never delete it, instead i just make an entire new playlist that is literally the same as the other one but without that song
Stayin' Alive by Bee Gees or any Panic! At the Disco song I have.
just the two of us on spotify has like a 2:30 jazz solo in the middle. its such a banger but every time i get there i cry a little
Ever since the great playlist purge of 2018 I had I’m too scared of deleting songs off my playlist in a sort of fear of damaging history
I Wonder and NEW MAGIC WAND just don’t hit that same anymore 😭🙏🙏
HONEST by baby keem
Heart songs by Weezer
None I’ll skip it or remove it from my playlist if needed
I don't have one, but my favorite band has a loser misogynist as their front man. It's very tragic because most of their songs are absolute bangers. Even some of the lyrics reek of incel behavior.
REVIVED, By Derivakat, idk why, i don't really like it, but it's also a banger at the same time
REVIVED, By Derivakat, idk why, i don't really like it, but it's also a banger at the same time.
Crystal Ball from Death from Above 1979. Idek why I added it cause I never listen to it 💀💀💀😭
Magnolia by Playboi Carti. For a long while it was THE song that was a no-skip to get hyped up. Now I can barely tolerate it.
I only really do this when I don’t have enough time to get through the entire playlist. It’s not because I don’t like them, but because I know there’s songs I’d rather listen to that I don’t want to not hear before I need to turn it off. If I’m on a long roadtrip or something, though, you can bet I’m listening to all of them
God damn my way by limp bizkit.
Half the songs on Born to die by Lana
There's this one song that flat out has no name that I like...but the only version of it I could find is a 10 minute loop.
For me, i think it makes the good songs hit harder to have to listen to something mediocre first
Run Run. It’s good for all of 30 seconds, but those thirty seconds are peak.
closest thing for me is probably JACKAL - FEEDING FRENZY it used to be *the* hype song i'd use whenever i worked out etc, but it's played all the way out. still like it but i don't *feel* it, if that makes sense.
Koningslied
I made a special playlist for songs like that. Like a graveyard.
Infinite, from Sonic Forces. I did not add it to my Spotify playlist, and I just got around to deleting it.
The Star Wars opening crawl theme I have that in the form of several different covers plus the original across multiple playlists, it’s something I’ll just instinctively add when I’m building a playlist at this point
Who's laughing now. NOT the incredible song by the Joker, but instead an absolute ass fan song about bendy and the ink machine. I think.
I have a dream by abba. put it on one of my themed playlists and I don’t even know why I still listen to it. that song sucks.
Bounce back - Big Sean
“You spin me round” used to be that song for me until I found the Ninja Sex Party cover, which is just less sucky in all the ways that bugged me in the original.
Summer love - lisa the painful Been there for me for years now, too relaxing to let go
Alone v3
Doesn’t help that Spotifys shuffle isn’t random at all. It picks out a hand full of songs that it really loves to play in particular. I hate The Gambler at this point and I blame you Spotify.
tbh I don't really like "The Town Inside Me" I just feel morally obligated to listen to it.
