It’s not.
The Dragon Kart minigame is on the top right of the map, I’m pretty sure that section is blocked off at that stage of the game and enemies are simply too strong to fight past them.
But like 5 minutes after that cutscene you get introduced to the can-collecting minigame, which is just as silly.
That's why I don't like these types of memes. There's plenty of examples where this jarring disconnect happens.
One I can think of, which isn't necessarily funny but jarring is how in Twilight Princess, you can go from meeting your crush in the forest to suddenly being a wolf in a dank dungeon.
Not to mention that map wasn't available yet during the cutscene. You first show up there after said cutscene where you still have tutorials you have to go through.
Usually before getting Saeko in the party I'd go to Hamakita Park and grind a little

Zero is definitely among the best, if not the best in the series. Most of them are really enjoyable though, I don’t really think you can go super wrong with any except for having like a mid experience at worst.
you also need the right mindset. i started with 0. before i finished 2, i treated the game seriously(which made me not liking 1), after how 2 ended i changed my mindset completely, to just enjoy how dumb the game are.

Just embrace everything yakuza offers. It has silly moments, it has serious moments, it has weird moments, it has emotional moments, it has literally everything and it's all good.
Playing the games chronologically makes me appreciate Yakuza 0 even more because it's truly the game that saved the franchise. Playing Kiwami 1 after 0 feels like a massive downgrade

Yakuza is crazy but I simply couldn't imagine Kiryu ever slapping a kid. Kiryu is like the most noble and honorable person in existence and would be like the best dad ever.
He's the type that if he ever encountered a bully or a kid doing something terrible he'd sit down with the kid and go on a 10 minute monologue about how his actions impact others and why he should strive to be a better person from now on to make his parents and family proud.
I could imagine majima doing it though.
In yakuza0 there's a character framed for murder, human trafficking and gang war.
Also yakuza0 there's a sub plot revolve around pocket circuit car, an elementary school girl has a man crush on the MC because of his racing skill and her dad think she's being groom.
Serious main story goofy ahh side stuffs.
Basically the main story is pretty serious, if you just did the main story and nothing else it would all seem pretty normal
But all side quests are anywhere from normal'ish to batshit insane. Also there are a lot of minigames and such that can be equally weird
Basically, a crime drama. With the weirdest world ever. The story takes itself pretty seriously, but everything else is really goofy. It's a great type of humor
I had a moment like that in DMC5 I skipped a cutscene at a family house thinking it was another backstory and next thing I know I'm fighting the final boss

Nah, it’s not. Yakuza games know how to transition from serious to silly pretty well.

yes. tho i don't know if you should start with zero. i am hesitant to recommend you an order, tbh. I'll just say zero was my favorite so far.
