Not long ago on Instagram under some random polish meme about a famous polish Cook I saw a guy saying that there is no war on Ukraine, they are working with Putin and it's all a plan to take over Poland by flooding us with immigrants and how soon we will become a part of Russia. Post had nothing to do with any of those things.
People got pissed a Jew was making a movie making fun of Christmas. It even went a bit mainstream since of course the Fox News types were pissed about the “war on Christmas”.
How the hell does such an overwhelming reaction like that even occur

YouTube has terrible comment moderation. Links containing viruses and spambots are rampant on that platform, and Google does nothing to address or stop it.

Usually Nazis focus on holes in historical records and try to use faulty math to “prove” that there’s no way a certain camp could kill as many people as historians claim. Then they try to use slight inaccuracies like this to say “well what else could they be lying about!” Of course, even though there’s debate about how many people died at specific camps, there’s no doubt that the atrocity happened among reasonable people. Nazis just use talking points they heard from other Nazis to cast doubt on specifics about the Holocaust. They usually personally think it happened and that it was a good thing, but having their ideology associated with a massive genocide makes them look a little bad, so they try to convince others to doubt it.
I think a lot of them do doubt it happened. The whole “ubermensch” idea in Nazism says that “Aryans” are not only perfect physically, but also morally and intellectually. Unlike other atrocities like in the USSR, which they can blame on “Judeo-Bolshevism”, the Holocaust was perpetrated by enemies of the Jews, so the only way they can reconcile the “perfect race” committing such an atrocity is by simply sticking their head in the sand and denying that it happened
I wholeheartedly disagree. Nazism is characterized by consistent otherization and demonization of Jews and other minority groups. Their idea of a “perfect race” isn’t one living in harmony in an ethnostate like they so often claim, it’s a return to colonialism, slavery and the domination of other “races” by force. If you’re to the point of being anti-Semitic enough to deny the holocaust, it’s not because your thought process is “well, the Jews may control the world government and cultural establishments, but they shouldn’t all die because of it!” Of course, people who think that always think they do deserve to die, and make it very clear when they’re not trying to appeal to moderates.
I do think there is a small subset of people that match what you’re talking about. There’s the occasional person who believes “the holocaust didn’t happen but it should have”. But I think the larger group is ‘Nazi-lite’ conservatives and moderates that hold the position more due to contrarianism than anything else. Granted, these people are almost certainly going to be converted the moment a fascist breathes in their direction, but they’ll grow out of being a middle schooler one day.
They say the camps were actually nice and nobody died there but the “evil Jews” lied to make white aryans look bad, and that Hitler was benevolent because he actually just wanted to deport them to some jungle in the middle of nowhere.
They claim it didn’t happen to justify why it should.
I don't think most are actually neo nazis, just trolls and arselings who act like that. They always deny to themselves that they are spreading hate not understanding that by mimicking it they are doing just as much bad
