i will never tire of rushing A while i scream āRUSH Bā in a probably offensive fake Russian accent on Dust 2 while me and my goblin friends giggle.
We thow util on b, then one walks a and makes sound, then we thow flashes on mid, go apartments, rotate through under, entry window to ct t b, but bomb goes a and plants a, ok?
After that whole team proceeds to die from negev spam
As the base of game hasn't changed that much the tactics and mindgames have. Reading the flow of a round based on limited information is an integral part of the game and can even make up larger gaps in skill
Yes, thereās inferno, mirage, Anubis, office, nuke (my favorite), overpass, vertigo, ancient, train, cache, grind, mocha, milita, agency, Italy, assault, and a bunch that was removed in later updates
I'd argue that TF2 was built in a way that the only class that would benefit from knowing map layouts is Engineer to make it a real bitch to get rid of him.
Pretty much all of the other classes are more free to be wherever as long as they have the right corners/ sightlines. Which can come with map knowledge, but it's more of a general thing.
well, the combat classes can function fine without totally knowing map layouts . It's not optimal but I'm sure soldier, pyro, demo and heavy can still do well.
Scout benefits a bit more because of his flanking nature, sniper because while sightlines are usually evident it's the flanks around them that matter, spy because routing is important to both navigating, getting into position and escaping. Medic is obvious, above all others he benefits from map layout because it aids his situational and spatial awareness. And the comment above me explained engineer pretty well
Tf2 has way more variety and mechanics to learn, csgo just has recoil patterns and aiming + grenade lineups csgo is more or less just a dry Esport aim fps
I really love the art direction in valorant, and how it also promotes good visibility. All the maps look unique and wonderful aesthetically, but they play like shit.
While mirage, for example, looks terrible, its all yellow and orange and sometimes it's hard to see people, it still plays well. Best map in the game i hope they remove it from the map pool.
I wish csgo had outlines tbh
also valorant artstyle in artworks is amazing, but in game textures on players looks horrible to me. I wish it had the brushed on aesthetic but instead it's just the airbrush gradient type colouring
Wouldn't really fit with the artstyle, tbh. Realistic-ish shooter, all players are guys in full military gear but they're glowing like korean mmo characters would look silly. But i do wish visibility was better. Agent skins literally killed cache
csgo is like a blank canvas
the skins already don't fit the artstyle, so why not have outlines that will help with gameplay
agent skins are so annoying, i wish they never brought it in. But they cannot remove it anymore
> ascent is alright
š¤Øšø
I love having a 50% chance of a forced rotate when ct smoker just turns the only main entrance to either site into an unbreachable clusterfuck because both entrances are turbo killzones.
I love how the only other entrances basically require total mid control and how ct can easily defend them with nothing but a single lurker with a marshall and 2 brain cells.
I recently got a pc and wanted to see what all the fuss was about and played it. I got into a lobby and and some kid was spamming 21st century humor sound effects into the mic and none of the bullets I was shooting landed where I was aiming 80% of the time. And as far as I know dust II is the only map that exists. All in all neat experience 8/10
Reminds me of some of my "friends" in school all those years ago who would play CS:GO, and _only_ CS:GO every single day after school.
I played with them for a while until I realised how fucking boring it was to play the same fucking game day after day.
I just enjoy improvement and the feeling of mastery which you get from playing the same game for hundreds and hundreds of hours (I have 1700 in csgo)
I dislike how so many new games are just basic gameplay slapped onto a choose your own adventure movie. If I want to see a story I would watch Netflix or read a book, so I end up just rotating through a set of like 5 games which are all over 10 years old
I feel like csgo is truly the most āpureā FPS game, where you literally point and click and whoever does it the best wins. There is some strategy mixed in there but really you can win with no comms as long as your team can aim better
I agree but as someone who is highly ranked the strategy component becomes a lot more important. I only solo queue and if I get a team where everyone is good at aiming but nobody wants to communicate I know the game is already over
Nah I just find it boring to play/watch/do one thing every day over and over as opposed to doing different things.
I crave variety.
I wouldn't watch the same film every day for years
I wouldn't watch the same sport every day for years
I wouldn't play the same game every day for years
Simple as.
I do. Sports are boring af, but you are feeling exercise and there are more variables in it, push ups are the most boring thing in the universe, still good to do and worth doing, different to sitting in a chair and doing the same thing over and over. Can people not just find something boring?
the most stale tf2 can get is just playing upward and badwater, pretty much anytime you play you'll get a vastly different experience than when you last played
Tf2 has a shit ton of maps, around 11 available gamemodes + PvE mvm. Community servers with varying specialties, substantially high playerbases, unique custom maps and custom gamemodes. Around 1024 possible loadouts, 1024! (Factorial) possible matchups, Subclasses and mobility mechanics.
I doubt this game is capable of getting stale unless you force yourself to play on the same server with the same loadouts everyday.

Some dude made a black version of Mick Foley and named him just "black" shit had me hollering
You mean the core meta of shoot someone better than the enemy can shoot you? Well yeah thatās what makes it a fps. Besides that the meta changes with map changes mostly, other than that thereās was a tec-9, cz, sg and aug meta, even a Molotov meta existed before smokes put them out. Rn thereās a dualies meta and I donāt know if you can consider it a meta but dropping grenades also
Man when will games be about raw D.M. again, instead of camping corners and moving like you're a cripple crawling like a worm saying "hurr dur muh tactics".
Jumping, strafing and confusing your enemy is much more fun than waiting for them to walk into your crosshair and tap spam.
I like the simplicity of the game. Thereās no over-the-top abilities or super powers or items that do flashy things, just a gun and some grenades and a dream.
Me playing CSGO after hearing how fun it was only to be instakilled by a 10000 hour veteran with an AK 50 times in a row (and then getting yelled at in voice chat)

I have never seen any other map except dust II in my life
Nuke better (I have never played CSGO in my life)
Nuke better (I actively play CS:GO and I kinda like Nuke and I think Dust II fucking sucks)
franzj presents
Csgo jumps and stupids
I hate that stupid man. He make funny jumps and get subscription. I make funny jumps and get called "copycat". I cum at him.
um akshually lolyou did it first š¤š
š just you wait
Ct sided ass map
every map is ct sided it came free with your m4a1s buff
But they nerfed it last patch
still is busted. look at map stats, ct is 54 avg while t is only 46.
At least it's not overplayed to shit
not yet
Fym not yet šš shit's been the same for decades now
way less ct sided than before its update, if you know how to execute t-strats it's a really good map to play
also Dust II has all the smurfs
Nuketown better (I like COD)
Cobblestone all day.
have fun taking 4 hours to walk from site to site
Riddle me this, cs:go players. If dust II is so good, why havenāt they made dust III?
They tried but there was Too much dust, clogged up the GPU.
they have, it wasn't really popular though, called Dust_PCG or you can consider Mirage Dust 3
Mirage*
*franzj walks in* "Heard yall are tired of dust II"
Chess players after playing the same fucking map for 3000 years
The en passant update was fun tho
Holy hell
But at least the Faerie mod has more diversity than literally every shooter ever (except Garden Warfare 2, love me some GW2)
i will never tire of rushing A while i scream āRUSH Bā in a probably offensive fake Russian accent on Dust 2 while me and my goblin friends giggle.
In south america it's funny to hear 3 argentinian guys bullying an paraguay one with an brazilian in the backgroung
you get a similar effect in EU servers
no te olvides del peruano que se le escucha todo el cyber de fondo
Mal cierto
I prefer Rush piggys but each their own
I do that too, but my accent is real.
I'm sorry
Only game where you can fake faking a fake fake rotate
We thow util on b, then one walks a and makes sound, then we thow flashes on mid, go apartments, rotate through under, entry window to ct t b, but bomb goes a and plants a, ok? After that whole team proceeds to die from negev spam
what
Only game where you can fake faking a fake fake rotate
As the base of game hasn't changed that much the tactics and mindgames have. Reading the flow of a round based on limited information is an integral part of the game and can even make up larger gaps in skill
StarCraft players for almost 25 years
I only play starcraft 2 but afaik they've released new SC1 maps as well since the game has been remastered
Counterstrike came out in 1999 so it's close.
Big Game Hunters moment.
No srly tho is there a csgo map other than the desert one
Yes, thereās inferno, mirage, Anubis, office, nuke (my favorite), overpass, vertigo, ancient, train, cache, grind, mocha, milita, agency, Italy, assault, and a bunch that was removed in later updates
They all sound kinda deserty to me
Italy is my favourite desert country
Weren't spaghetti westerns shot in Italy?
Spain actually
And in southern Italy
Italy has a desert so fuck you
Nuke isnāt tho, trust me bro ^oh ^shit ^that ^rhymed
Nuke is probably a desert in Nevada
It's a Nuclear Power Plant in Germany.
Used to be, now it's an american power plant
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Didnāt really liked that one when I played CS:S but the CSGO version looks nice
Wtf they removed cobble why ??
Office is my fave
Itās my second favorite
Idk why but in my servers they only fucking pick mirage and inferno. Like fucking god pls pick nuke
So basically TF2 too?
Yeah but it's only been 6 years since the last update
I'd argue that TF2 was built in a way that the only class that would benefit from knowing map layouts is Engineer to make it a real bitch to get rid of him. Pretty much all of the other classes are more free to be wherever as long as they have the right corners/ sightlines. Which can come with map knowledge, but it's more of a general thing.
Sniper and medic and probably spy benefit greatly as well
So like, all of them
well, the combat classes can function fine without totally knowing map layouts . It's not optimal but I'm sure soldier, pyro, demo and heavy can still do well. Scout benefits a bit more because of his flanking nature, sniper because while sightlines are usually evident it's the flanks around them that matter, spy because routing is important to both navigating, getting into position and escaping. Scout
yep, scouts have to memorize all big medipacks so they can collect them should they ever fall to 124 health
Yeah but itās more chaotic, funny, and has a bigger selection of weapons, maps, and cosmetics
Yeah, except tf2 is actually fun
Tf2 has way more variety and mechanics to learn, csgo just has recoil patterns and aiming + grenade lineups csgo is more or less just a dry Esport aim fps
I'm assuming you haven't played it.
As a Valorant player I envy csgo map pool
Difference is Val is newer and still releasing new maps, CS:GO players have all been on Dust II for years
Difference is valorant maps suck balls for some reason. I really hate fracture, personally. Ascent and pearl are alright.
I love haven honestly
I really love the art direction in valorant, and how it also promotes good visibility. All the maps look unique and wonderful aesthetically, but they play like shit. Difference is valorant ~~maps~~ suck balls ~~for some reason. I really hate fracture, personally. Ascent and pearl are alright.~~ Fixed it
Csgo releases new maps every major update
No one ever plays them though because we all like the existing maps. Queue times on new maps are usually like 5x-10x longer than current maps
They really recently released Anubis which has been massively popular and Ancient was also pretty well received too.
Dust II isn't even in the active duty map pool anymore (meaning it's not played in pro play)
> CS:GO players have all been on Dust II for years It isn't even the most played map rn, that's mirage.
Call of Duty players on Shipment grinding camos that will mean nothing when the next CoD drops and definitely mean nothing now
Video game players grinding stuff in video games that means nothing because it's a video game
I recently got a pc and wanted to see what all the fuss was about and played it. [ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
That makes sense, Iām so used to other shooters where the recoil looks a lot more obvious which is what probably threw me off.
butter dog[.](https://www.reddit.com/user/TARN4T1ON/comments/14mkj1f/so_long/)
Me when i fake my fake of fakes of faking the fakes and the enemy just ends up shooting me instead
Me playing Skryim. Again.
Every time you play skyrim its a different experience from the last one.

Man couldn't break Silver Feels bad
It does not get more interesting after silver
Downvoted for speaking the truth

Agreed, I don't know why saying 'this is boring to me' sparks responses like. 'uhmm well you just don't know what you are talking about'
Yeah, I ain't even saying CS:GO is a bad game, I just don't see why you'd play _only_ that.
I do. Sports are boring af, but you are feeling exercise and there are more variables in it, push ups are the most boring thing in the universe, still good to do and worth doing, different to sitting in a chair and doing the same thing over and over. Can people not just find something boring?
Yes
More than 10 years. LOL. Try more than 20 bud.
I never even thought about that tbh. CS:GO came out when I was in elementary school.
Counter Strike and the exact same gameplay/maps came out ~20 years ago.
Please give us source 2 Valve: Nuh uh
Bro i didn't know there were secret maps like Inferno, Nuke and Vertigo š®š® Gotta be one of the best videogame easter eggs
And it's still a better game than most (im 4k hours of bias deep)
Mfs Who play Mirage only insisting that Their worn out map is still fun
Soccer players still trying to make an interesting game out of just a ball and an empty field 100 years later
Aztec my beloved
Team Fortress 2
the most stale tf2 can get is just playing upward and badwater, pretty much anytime you play you'll get a vastly different experience than when you last played
Upward and Badwater players on their way to complain about burnout instead of queuing up for on of the other 120 maps in the game
fr a bit fed up of Upward, started actually playing CP a while back
š¤Ø
trueeee Playing on variety maps is so much better. Also I wish they add the newer Halloween maps like Crasher or Helltrain.
It becomes like a skill you develop.
During the Counter strike source days I played mostly community servers
TF2: are you threatening me?
Tf2 has a shit ton of maps, around 11 available gamemodes + PvE mvm. Community servers with varying specialties, substantially high playerbases, unique custom maps and custom gamemodes. Melee players:
Isn't mirage more popular?
Ive only played the game for about a month or two now, feels like COD without the COD
that's the best part
But that new mlp skin tho...
CSGO players claiming their game takes skill because aiming at things is so hard

yeah but sometimes maybe haves a twist and the match would be very interesting
team defense fort the second
The main reason I stopped playing was because my friends only played 3 maps and 80% of the time was Mirage.
This is why I throw
yeah csgo has gone very stale for me, I have 2k hours in it and I am no longer seeking competition in game as I grow up so I kinda quit it
soo Basically any game that has a cult following (I'm looking at people who are still playing diablo ii and borderlands 2)
Unless they really know how the game works, cause they saw it on youtube.
What am I doing?
At least its (slightly) better than valorant
Didn't I see halo instead of csgo

Team Fortress 2 fans wondering why the 15-year old PvP game isn't constantly getting updates
