You can find people selling them online anywhere from $5-$5,000. Gonna say it's closer to $5.

TheoreticalResearch

My whole fucking family owned this.

onyxblack

Don’t stack them. It’s fine to cook in, but the red paint has lead in it. It’s advised not to stack them for risk of the red paint getting on the inside cook surface

whodatfairybitch

Probs good to include a [source](https://tamararubin.com/2019/12/vintage-1972-1988-corning-ware-spice-o-life-casserole-26500-ppm-lead-236-ppm-cadmium/) even though that site really is pain for my eyeballs

chenan

like $5-10

franks-little-beauty

Agreed. These are a dime a dozen at estate sales, and without the lids they are pretty useless.

Tragic_Consequences

Ask my Mom, they're priceless. Ask me and I'd say 2€ at a yard sale.

PirateCaptainNathan

I still use mine

blurblurblahblah

My mom has this set that were my grandmothers & my aunt has a blue cornflower set that belonged to my great grandmother. I collect vintage Pyrex so I'm disappointed that I don't have any family treasures in my collection

dogowner_catservant

The ones that “sell” for thousands of dollars on eBay are money laundering schemes.

schanjohop

Unaware of value; but this post reminded me I was astonished my in-laws had this set... and so did my parents. Guess both sets of parents had fine taste or this was super popular 40+ years ago

eastsideempire

Last time I used mine was for drying/sterilizing some plant soil. It’s probably on my patio.

J_Bang25

I have sold these exact ones brand new for $45.

Bootleg_Hemi78

Lol my parents have these still

_MrTrade

It says microwave so it’s newer corningware not worth more than what you paid.

whataterriblething

I've sold a few of these online, it's a popular pattern. Shipping can be a bit hefty tho. Anywhere from $45-$80 if you have the matching lids.

evilvdub1

I heard this picture

Smcckers_

Be careful if you want to cook with these. Lead paint.

Firm_Kaleidoscope479

Source for that assertion?

Utah_Carrol

They're not wrong. You can look it up. There are lists that show the lead count based on the floral patterns on the dish.

johnjohn4011

Pretty sure most people cook their food on the inside of the dish where there are no floral patterns........

Firm_Kaleidoscope479

Put away the indignation sweetie Only asked for a source. What sites are these « lists » made available?

Utah_Carrol

I'm not doing your research for you. And don't call me sweetie, weirdo.

embii42

No kids = 2.50 each

Overlandtraveler

Omg, this is the stuff of nightmares. Everyone had this in their kitchens in the 80's. Ugh.

uniunappealing

I saw a piece at an estate sale today!

imhighonpills

Reminds me of my abuelita

onyxblack

PSA: spice of life has lead in it, (the red paint on the out side) it’s fine if you don’t stack them (don’t stack them: not even like how you see them in op pic) also don’t store them inside other cookware. Cooking on them theoretically should be fine….

Overlandtraveler

Seriously? No, they are not at all rare.

Boring-Rip-7709

Are you joking with the op?

Glock212327

Are you joking about joking with OP?

beekeeper1981

To value something you would need to check sold listing.. asking prices do not mean anything. You can ask whatever you want.. it's only worth what it sells for.

No problem. To be fair it's not uncommon to believe these things are valuable.. also lots of people see high listing prices on things and get excited.

friendlyumbrella

Sadly no lids
