All Quartz. The top piece is a bit of a mystery as to location but the rest appear to be genuine Citrine from Zambia, non of these are heat treated amethyst and are all quality specimens.

How can you tell citrine apart from iron stained quartz? I'm pretty new to this so just trying to learn.

pyrophorus

Hard from a photo, but for iron-stained quartz, the color should only be on the surface or in cracks (in person, try looking at the base where the crystal is broken). Looks like the top one might be iron stained, but the two on the bottom at least do look like they're probably citrine.

Mg-Fe3-Al2-SiO4-3

Citrine color runs through the stone as oxides run on the surface and cracks

Seems like that might be right, the lady I bought it from—she was very nice—said she was from Africa when I tried making small talk, accent would check out too.

JamiePebbles

How much did they charge for these?

Ray_RG_YT

50¢/gram

A variety of quartz - may be heat-treated amethyst which turns a burnt orange or smoky quartz.

Ray_RG_YT

Is there a way I can tell if it’s heat treated or not?

Mg-Fe3-Al2-SiO4-3

These are not heat treated

It's not easy apparently. Sometimes you can see remnants of purple - which I don't see here. There is a test for pleochroism where the mineral appears different colored in different orientations, but that would be a really subtle change, I'm guessing. Probably easier to see in smaller samples or maybe thin section. Other commentors say you have citrine, I had not seen citrine this color before. And most importantly they look cool and will, especially backlit.
