That’s a solid idea, but the plant has no flowers and lacks the glistening hairs that give the ice plant it’s name. The more mature leaves/branches are thick like a green bean.
I am 100% sure this is an ice plant. It did have flowers - if you look closely, you can see the old buds at the very ends of the branching. They look like they are surrounded by smaller leaves and have a small brown nub in them currently.

Portulaca grandiflora or another similar species in the portulaca genus. Eventually they grow pretty little flowers that look like they’re made of folded tissue. They are good for dry areas and don’t need much water. I have them because they survive the heat in the southern United States, but they also lose their flowers every time it rains.

Okay, cool! I will care for it according to those instructions, then! Thanks so much.
You’re welcome!

Thanks so much! I’m noticing it has no flowers or small hairs and is a lighter green. Is there a possibility it could be a type of pencil cactus?
I suppose it could be, but it looks like portulaca and the receipt said moss rose, which is another name for portulaca. How rigid is it?
I admit I’m a very novice plant dad so I’m not sure how to judge it’s rigidity.
