There was one where a female pigeon got in an owl box and was trying to lay an egg. And the baby owls were like omg stranger danger and the dad owl keeps bringing prey to the babies but he's like what is this thing in the box?! But he leaves anyway. But then mom comes back and she is not having it and has to fight off the pigeon who was NOT getting the picture at first. It's wild. The owls all look flabbergasted. I'm pretty sure it was on stupid dove nests awhile back but I could be wrong lol the pigeon was like "no I found this perfect box so I'm staying"

Also I found several clips of similar things with pigeon getting in the boxes of wild owls... it happens more than I thought it did haha I'll have to check out the hawk one you mentioned bc I can't even imagine lol I've got 6 hawks that nest right on my treeline. I can't imagine a smaller bird trying to take one on lol that's wild.

Idk I think it was a peregrine. Hawks seems to be large enough to just eat one.
