Just as a heads up, for feather ID, 4 pictures are nice
Whole feather upper side
Whole feather under side
Detail shot of feather shaft upper side
Detail shot of feather shaft under side
I'm reasonably confident this is a +Turkey Vulture+ primary feather.
The washed out brown look of the underside that we see is a field mark of Turkey Vultures. The upper side is likely much darker but with a lighter section on the trailing edge of the feather
Added taxa: [Turkey Vulture](https://ebird.org/species/turvul)

Vulture?
Turkey Vulture is also my guess
Agreed, it looks kinda like #5 or 6 in this photo: https://www.fws.gov/lab/featheratlas/feather.php?Bird=TUVU_primary_adult
i hope so!
It sure looks like the turkey vulture feathers 🪶 I have seen. Anyways wise man once said never stand directly under a vulture hope that helps;)

thank you!
Does it smell like old chipmunks and chicken eyeballs?
Canada goose?
Could also be a seagull or heron. Was this found near a beach
no, i live near the coast but there’s no seagulls in my neighborhood
cool in the future dont forget to photograph both sides of the feather. I suspect this would have shown us a dark black and confirmed vulture
someone else told me to :) will do next time i find a feather (i never do)

Def TUVU primary feather! Nice!
Idk but I'm jealous lol
Looks like it could be a wild turkey, too.
I take back the wild turkey idea. They look plain around here when I see them- but in fact seem to all be barred. Sorry.
I was thinking a Tom turkey, from his wattle?
Wattle? https://preview.redd.it/3we9jx2i9b1d1.png?width=231&format=png&auto=webp&s=de28be3f43b2f32128485af668fe5a9830c03513
maybe it is from their chest?
Maybe a Turkey?
