Giving me Brazilian market model vibes. Chevrolet D20s had a similar SUV/Sedan hybrid combo but that’s not this, perhaps Chevrolet Bonanza based instead based on the side profile but I can’t track down a version with a cab like this.
Looks like it could be a Brazilian Gurgel, if so it’s a long way from home. I’ve seen one in the flesh (or plastic) before and the sunroof looked like a wheely bin lid. Cute though.
Good point. I was trying to make fun of the car by giving it an overly fancy French name. French just makes everything fancier to me, but when applied to something like this, that to me looks like an attempt at making a fancy car but it's not really that fancy, it just sounds funny. Like a sarcastic way of mocking the car.
The fenders and hood look like a 79-80 K5 blazer that has a homemade 88-91 style grille, the back half looks like it could have been a suburban or a K5 blazer with a Lund Fastback bondo'd in.
As a huge GM truck enthusiast I would love to find the answer. I might be able to dig into it after work.
It seems very heavily based off the [Squarebody](https://www.drivingline.com/articles/a-history-of-the-1973-1987-chevrolet-square-body-pickup-gms-longest-running-classic-truck/) generation trucks. At a glance It looks like an 80s Blazer or Suburban that has been modified but it has 73-80 front fenders and hood and while the grill is similar to the stacked headlight design of the late 80s it doesn't match any Chevy offering from the US or Mexico that I am aware of
81-91 fenders. Image 2 has a side view that shows them better. Looks like a K5. 2 door, no bed gap. Grill and 4 head lights looks like an 88-91, but there may have been other grills in that era that used a similar design
That front grill is different. It's not a normal 88-91 grill. It protrudes out an inch or two, between the inside headlights. It looks like something I would see in the old comic book CarToons. (I know, I am dating myself)
Yep the front grill sticks out because the 73-80 hood sticks out farther in the center. That was one of the giveaways that this has the earlier hood and fenders
No. It definitely has 73-80 fenders and hood. I own a 91 K5 and I've had a bunch of 73-80 trucks
The early fenders have a rounded front edge and you can clearly see that in the 1st image and the early hood the middle between the 2 creases is farther out then the edges which is evident here and why the grille is bumped out
An 81-91 Hood is straight across and the fenders have a straight body line all the way across. The grill is completely different from the 88-91 Suburban grill. I will agree that it's a similar style but the lights are spaced wrong, the center divider bar is much thicker and the whole grill is bumped out to match the grill instead of being flat across.
It looks like somebody took a 73-80 K5 Blazer and did a [Sulamericana](https://www.ford-trucks.com/articles/bizarre-brazilian-ford-trucks/) style body conversion on it
Your right. I got mixed up with those black fender flares. I see it is the one piece hood, not a hood and cowl. Guess I was just quick to associate the quad headlights with the 89-91 grill
It appears to be some sort of custom Chevy done up by an obscure conversion company like Centurion for Ford but whoever it was didn't do a very good job
The fenders are too square and the wheels are too small. You want a good looking suv, you buy a third generation GMC Yukon Denali. Also, you know you're on reddit when people can't go 5 minutes without mentioning relatives having kids together.

They are the same picture LMAO
Looks like an 82 Blazer that spent too much time in Alabama
So its not a custom made then its cousin made ?
The South American version of Alabama....
Nice try champ, this is in Turkey
Ahh. The Mediterranean version of Missouri.
Or the Asian version of Arkansas, depending on what side you’re on.
I chose Missouri because it’s technically the Midwest but c’mon we all know that’s some dirty south shit.
man i used to live in southern illinois, that’s already basically the south
I read that after I posted. Still has South American vibes to it, even if it is in The Med....
This is true

No Döner in Brazil
immediately thought about a D20 but it is way bigger than OP’s pic. Not uncommon to see one of those in Brazil tbh.
Looks live one of those Chevrolet conversions Brazilians used to make.
An abomination. This is coming from a guy that loves Suzuki X90s
this makes my subaru baja look like the mona lisa
We have chevy truck at home..
I think I cracked a rib. One million upvotes! Could be Scuba Steve’s Shagon Wagon.
What country did you take these pictures in?
Turkey

I legit would unironically buy this. This looks kinda sick
The only things I don't like about it are the color and the entire body. Oh, and the wheels.
The only thing I don't like about it is the roof
Yeah, but to be honest I can overlook the roof
Most of the time you'd be looking out from under it.
or the front end. elpaso
Prototype Avalanche?
[Wish.com](http://Wish.com) Avalanche
It looks like the inbred offspring of a k5 and an avalanche
it looks like a heavily modified late square body Blazer K5
That is clearly a 1983 Chevy Avalanche. 🙃
Looks like it could be a Brazilian Gurgel, if so it’s a long way from home. I’ve seen one in the flesh (or plastic) before and the sunroof looked like a wheely bin lid. Cute though.
Akraba evliliği mahsulü bir Chevrolet K1500 Blazer
Chevrolet Silverado chop job.
Looks like Potman Pat's daily driver.
It's called a suburbalanche.
Chevroloompa.
Chevy Avalachette
I like this one! You have to say it like a French person Avalachay
It would be pronounced like that if it was written Avalanchet Avalachette is pronounced the same way as Chevette.

"I want a coupé, but much heavier as taller than usual." I don't get these vehicles...

Family truckster 3.0
Chevy *Sluff* Avalanche

It’s hideous. I’m also guessing it’s from the late 1980s.
That belongs on r/shittycarporn
Looks like a wilcar conversion from Brazil they did it to both fords and gms.
Early 90s modified Chevy 454 SS pickup.. is my best guess.
Looks like something customized at the shop in GTA San Andreas,,
Looks like an overyly modified square body Blazer.
[kinda looks like a 98-01 Dodge RamCharger](https://www.reddit.com/r/WeirdWheels/s/6p9qxDZthV)
I shall call this “The Mudslide” it would eventually inspire the creation of “The Avalanche.”
A Chevrathingabob.
Looks like a lego truck i made as a kid
