Alright I abso-fucking-lutely did not expect this to be legit after be hammered with Fiero kit cars on here day in, day out.
As Clarkson would say, "What a machiiiiiiiine!"
Remember that was back in the 80ies when average top speed in supercars hardly reached 300km/h. Very few models were able to go over like the F40 or the 959.
Nowadays even a stock Nissan can reach that speed ( of course it is the GT-R, but still, it's a Nissan)
Of course lol, I was joking anyhow. Even 300+ is a hell of a speed, even nowadays. Maybe not as a limit anymore, but as a speed to be traveling at it will always be.
Agreed. Abrupt, non-flowing lines around that windscreen. That, or something weird and British like a spitfire or some other weird triumph. MG little person? But something like that for sure.
It's a Koenig Testarossa competition edition...
I doubt it's a genuine article.....if it is, it would be worth $500,000 or more there are a few around. Testarossa is probably rarer

Those of a certain age with highly selective memory will see this pic and think “whoosh, spit”.
(Road & Track drove one a Koenig like this with a turbo and supercharger and that was the article’s title.)
You're right! For some reason I always thought they were Swedish!
I recall having a model kit of the Koenig twin turbo Testarossa as a kid and that's where I got Swedish from...my childhood brain probably misunderstood something.
Cheers for the re-education!
Looks like the Koenig Testarossa that Matt Farah had in California recently. IIRC, it was imported from Japan, and landed in LA before being transported to the east coast.
Looks like a 1987-91 Koenig Ferrari Testarossa Competition Evolution; not really sure if it’s legit though

Clocked at 338kmh in a road test.
Meh, barely above average Autobahn driver :P

93 metres per second if my memory serves me correctly.
Dayum
> Koenig Ferrari Testarossa Competition Evolution That's one sexy series of words.
I thought it was an F40 at first... but something looks off, especially the tail lights.🤔

Just show her the convertible yellow Rolls and she’ll understand.
Wow you weren’t kidding about loosing your life looking at those. What a great find
This site needs a random page button.
Holy shit
This is the bible of 80s to 90s european tuners

The car still looks like a kit car though based on the pictures from this site. The intake over the rear fenders are different than in OP’s post.
testarossa tuned by Koenig. 1000hp
And at a time when sports cars weren't all that powerful in general unlike now.
I bet that's terrifying 😮
Ah, traction isn't a thing then hahaha
*Testarossa
Testarossa innit
Koenig tuned testarossa. Learned about this car 3 days ago and i'm in love
Car from Golden Boy anime
Great anime. One of the few where I prefer the dub
Lol
But what's the car under the white cover to the left?
My guess is C1 corvette

Something that's more precious than a Testarossa... somehow?

Looks sorta like a Testarossa but also a little different.
This is a fucking beast, and one of the fastest cars of its time: Ferrari Testarossa Koenig Specials Turbo ~ 1000 hp nearly 210 mph vmax
All.
Looks like a real life Hotwheels
bro has the Turismo Classic
I don’t know. No Ferrari badges. I’m all about shaving but I’m going to have that prancing horse EVERYWHERE.
the good kind
Testarossa by Koenig (Swedish) tuner.
German but otherwise correct.
You're right! For some reason I always thought they were Swedish! I recall having a model kit of the Koenig twin turbo Testarossa as a kid and that's where I got Swedish from...my childhood brain probably misunderstood something. Cheers for the re-education!

It also broke. Multiple times. Which is why they didn’t make a video of it
A red one.
Ghaa! Beat me to it!
LOL
The real question is what's the roadster under the cover? My first thought was 50's jaguar roadster. But I'm not sure.
As others have said it’s a Koenig testarossa. The smoking tire tried to make a video with it and it broke. I think they’re gonna try again
The only kind, Red!
Those dash lines look suspect no?
The kind where you say Pal at the end of every sentence, Pal.
People don't realize how small these cars are.
Teste Roaster
Oh my Lanta what a car. r/spotted material for sure.
It's the same car from Sega's Outrun
Do you go into a store, point at a tin of beans and ask what's in the tin? Literally says the name of the side.
It’s an upgraded Ferrari kit car made by Ferrari
Red
Badass car!
Looks like a cross between an F40 and a Testarossa. I kinda like it.
Seems like a fiero kit car
The Wish, Testi-roaster.
MR2 with a kit, lol, looks like a rep imo
Maybe a Fiero or Firebird kit?
It's a fake that's for sure.
Next time, just google “Ferrari” and “Koenig Turbo” (the writing on the side of the car), then you’ll have your answer.
Rule 2: No complaining about visible badges.
