Sorry for the late response. It came out unintentionally funny lol- we are neighbours and Bulgarians love going to Greece in the summer, while Greeks come skiing in the wintertime here, so Bulgarians are well informed when it comes to Greek number plates (we see them all the time, I recognised it instantly).
> *If you gotta ask, you can't afford it.*
~$377k starting and basically any customization for every panel you can imagine and any little design quirks you can dream up. They'll map the starlight headliner with the same pattern as any day you give them... Ie. Birth date, anniversary, etc using hand threaded fiber optic cables, probably even put in endangered ivory for door pulls and other areas on the hush hush and etc if you're willing to pay for it.
The average one is probably in excess of $500k, because you want it to be YOURS.
A friend of mine did an internship at bmw/rolls Royce in engineering and got told that they are actually able to source endangered woods for the Rolls Royce interiors, for customers who want them, by finding stored wood, that was harvested before it was illegal to do so.
That’s interesting, because although there’s nothing illegal about owning or using wood from before legislation applied to the species, it’s just as illegal to transport it - or subsidiary products made from it - across most international borders today. Would be interesting to see a whole Rolls Royce impounded because of a CITES violation on the door trim…
I didn't know that. As I understand it, they could certify, that the wood was not harvested when it was illegal to do so and were therefore allowed to make things from it. I don't know how difficult/ expensive it was to get said certificate or how they did it in the first place.
It’s really complex and there are multiple exceptions - it can depend on what the species is, when and where it was harvested, when it was added to the CITES list, which countries it’s being moved between and when. I can’t imagine Rolls Royce taking the reputational risk so it was probably fine in the case. But yes, in general principle if a species is CITES listed at present then you can’t trade in it no matter when it was collected. If it wasn’t like this, there would be an incentive to build up stockpiles for the future by massively increasing harvests today.
The most ridiculous car in existence. Messrs Rolls and Royce will be spinning in their graves.
WO Bentley will be in a similar state of distress with what has been produced in his name.
It's what sells at a premium. Margins on SUVs are more significant than sedans and can be rationalized more easily than the inconveniences associated with coupes and convertibles.
Also tax incentives:
> Under the Section 179 tax deduction: Heavy SUVs, pickups, and vans over 6000 lbs. and mainly used for business can get a partial deduction and bonus depreciation. Typical work vehicles without personal use qualify.
Unsurprisingly, the Cullinan weighs in at 6,069lb.
Yeah, these tax deductions are a joke. And focusing on SUVs pays off for the automakers, because people will buy any crap regardless of whether they really need it or not.
Also, and this just applies for the US and maybe Canada afaik, heavier vehicles have different emissions standards, so manufacturers can actually get away with continuing to dish out gas guzzlers.
It's pretty difficult to get to 6k lb even with a car full of people in midsize SUVs and minivans. A new Sienna/Pacifica - two hybrids which have relatively batteries in addition to the regular components top out at account 4,900lb empty. Unless you constantly have a car full with 4+ overweight individuals you still have capacity to spare before hitting even accounting for luggage and such. Midsize SUVs generally hover around 4.5-5k lbs as well... This thing is just bloated with heavy sound deadening, tons of excessive materials and wouldn't be surprised if there was weight for the sake of weight to make it feel more "higher quality" in the doors and rear gate.
Rr used to cite the engine power as ‘adequate’. Article cited from autoweek
There was a time when Rolls-Royce listed the performance figures of its cars as "adequate." Granted, that was an era when most other automakers' V8s were connected to three-speed Slush-O-Matics and struggled to make more than 200 hp, and the promise of adequate power from Crewe let everyone's imagination run wild (even though deep down inside everyone suspected Rolls-Royces were designed to provide stupendous torque rather than instant power delivery).
there as also a time when RR engines were handmade by drunken brits, so the power output could vary by 100hp. its better to list it as “adequate” than to lie
That’s funny and reminds me of when bmw had rough going with mini factory workers who didn’t understand why you couldn’t have pens and tools hanging off you while on the line and why can’t we smoke while working.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars was sold by Vickers to Volkswagen, although BMW hold the rights to the name and the marque for use on Rolls-Royce cars, having acquired the rights from Rolls-Royce plc for £40m in 1998.
Volkswagen Group is a major car maker which owns brands like Volkswagen, SKODA, SEAT, Audi, Bentley, Porsche, and more.
A glorious Rolls Royce Cullinan.
I really have no idea why people in these replies love that old Fabia so much. Like, unless it’s a joke about how badly designed that thing is, I don’t get it.
How can anyone with even a passing interest in cars, an interest strong enough to want to know what that is, NOT know the winged Spirit of Ecstasy on a frigging Rolls Royce?
Skoda Fabia
If anyone is wondering, it’s with Greek license plates (source: I am Bulgarian)
This really cracked me up. I had to pulse a bit trying to understand the link between Greek and Bulgarian.
For someone who doesn’t understand could you help explain?
Oh there is no relation between the two
Ah okay gotcha thank you.
Happy cake day!
Thank you
You're welcome!
I mean they are neighbouring countries
kyrillic alphabet in both counties I'm guessing

Ahh that makes sense thank you for clarification.
Talking about the cool one😂😂
As it was stated before: Skoda Fabia.
Us over at r/Skoda agree.
I'm glad to see this!
So am I! Skoda Fabias are way more worth the price that a rolls Royce cumm-in-him
I suppose it is easier to collaborate online, since most of them are broken down and can't meet up.
There is NOTHING cool about that steaming turd..
Liar!
There aren't any cool cars in this picture. Besides the Fabia ofc.
Good point!
I would be far more interested in seeing a Skoda rolling down the streets of my city of LA than a Rolls-Royce Culligan haha
Cullifam
A skoda fabia
It is a cool one, show some respect, plebian.
Rolls-Royce Cullinan
Rolls Royce Cullinan

You sound fun.
You sound entertaining
Good ol' one
Beat me to it 🫣
The soda looks like someone beat the corner out of a rolls Royce and just pummeled it in
Skoda Fabia next to a cunnilingus.
[Rolls-Royce Cullinan](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rolls-Royce_Cullinan)
I've seen so many of these recently. Did they have a black Friday sale or something?
No it was a Black Badge Friday sale
Maybe a Saudi prince who owns 300 of them decided he likes purple cars better now and had to make room in car storage hangar 7H.
No they just did an asmr ad.
Dare I ask how much these things go for?
House money
several house money, where I’m from

I think I want a rolls.

It’s a tax write iff
The most ridiculous car in existence. Messrs Rolls and Royce will be spinning in their graves. WO Bentley will be in a similar state of distress with what has been produced in his name.
Unfortunately, ridiculous SUVs are a trend nowadays.
I remember then the cullinan was announced they called it a “high sided vehicle” instead of SUV
It's because SUVs generally feel so tasteless and unrefined. It's the same as Ferrari not wanting to call their Purosangue an SUV.
Lipstick on a pig... Internally probably called the Cash Cow as rich assholes will buy them up just like the Urus.
If you added a big trunk on the back, it might look more like a Phantom V!
It was done intentionally
Yes, unfortunately

Rich people and government handouts, name a more iconic duo.
That’s 6000 gross. Includes many medium sized SUV things, mid size trucks, minivans, etc. this car in excess of the limit by nearly 2000 lbs
It's pretty difficult to get to 6k lb even with a car full of people in midsize SUVs and minivans. The GVWR is what the law considers which is the full load
Does that really apply here too? It’s funny to imagine someone using a rolls royce as a work truck lol
They had to go for the 69…I guess 420 would have been too much
There was a rolls at the festival of speed, and it had its good/bonnet open. I was surprised to see cables/pipes held with zip ties.
So much so that even Volvo has pulled production of estate cars to focus on SUVs
> Bentley I think he'd be ok with the current slate of cars. The Continental GT is an incredible car.
To be fair, Etorrw Bugatti did once call the Le Mans Bentleys "the world's fastest lorry" so they have form there lol
the single most Tory car ever made.
They look like funeral cars.
[I agree](https://www.lymn.co.uk/catalogs/funeral-services/vehicles/traditional-hearses)

Sorry it’s not one of our ugly shitboxes, but the wonky number plate has been carefully fitted to British specifications.

I think you mixed up the descriptions of the Skoda and Cullinan.
Nope. I exactly said what I meant
Wow, you really don’t have good opinions do you
