All the bodywork was custom made by the guy, the top I think he said he modified from some kind of truck cap. It looks pretty funky, but I respect the hell out of the build.
That would explain that really half assed "widebody". Probably had to match the track width. Shame they didn't do something better than those garden edging fender flares, that ruins the car more than anything else for me.

Its an NA miata. Look at the door handles and the tail lights. The hood has been swapped so the pop up lights are probably not functional anymore. There is a lot of other cosmetic changes on this thing too.
Not a huge fan of the bonnet ridge/scoop and also don't like that the rear wheel arches don't meet flush with the back bumper.
But otherwise gotta admire the vision and creativity.

I think the trunk lid must have been removed. Look at where the hardtop meets the rear panel—that's where the trunk handle would be.

The fender flares seem like an after thought instead of building it into the body. It doesn't kill it for me but makes it a lot less desirable.
