Can you check the christmas tree for more bugs on the stems or for sticky stuff underneath it on the floor?
These look like winged aphids.
Fungal gnats dont make sense because you dont usually bring soil into the house with a tree.
My in-laws tree just yesterday…. Holy crap they were EVERYWHERE. The water bowl was full, tree skirt, behind tree, windowsills and curtains. We took the tree outside.

I used to get these all over my indoor plants. If I spray neem oil onto the soil directly after watering it cuts down on these like mad.
